Yankees in 5

Something wants me to start it up like this:

CC Game1 -Friday
AJ Game2 -Saturday
Andy Game3 -Monday
Hughes Game4-Tuesday
CC Game5 -Wednesday
Andy Game6 -Friday
AJ start/Hughes if needed Game7 -Saturday

Why? AJ throwing a GEM on the road in Arlington is better then throwing a gem at home on Monday. This requires Andy to go on short rest for a potential game 6 which leaves AJ to start 7 on the road with a short leash and Hughes for relief on short rest.

I would equally swap Hughes and AJ for Game 2, leaving Hughes with full rest in Game 7 but requires AJ to pitch at home with a sour taste.

hughes is pitching game 2. He has had one hell of a year and I would never want AJ to be schedualed to pitch a game 7 after the last 2 months he had. Let him pitch game 4 and only game 4 for now, we still have him for like 4 more years.

CC - Game 1
Hughes - Game 2
Andy vs Cliff Lee - Game 3
AJ - Game 4 (4:05 start at the Stadium) 3.33 Era in 8 day game starts
CC- game 5
Hughes - game 6
Andy vs Cliff Lee - game 7

no one on that team I would rather pitch game 7 then Andy ... hes been doing it for 15 years now he deserves it. AJ needs to pitch good no matter where it is ... But hopefully we r up 2 or 3 games on the Rangers by his start.

LETS GO YANKEES

I would have to agree with that I just feel like AJ pitching at home is a sure fire loss. NY is a tough crowd to pitch infront so I'd put him on the road but doing so early on means less rest between starts when at home.

i am going to be nervous when he takes the mound no matter where he pitches ... but who knows he prob will pitch 7 scoreless and be lights out .. and every one will be like WTF!!!1

Phillies/Giants series is a toss up. I like the Giants more though.

Read that this morning also

I'm very happy Andy is pitching for the home opener and if need be closing out Game 7, he's probably the only one I would want up there outside of CC.

hughes will have plenty of chances to pitch in the playoffs, he is only 24 i think. This could be andy's last year! But hopefully we close it out in the bronx!!!!

doubtful it'll be his last year if so it'll be Lee's new home then. But bringing Lee might make Andy stay, talk about starting pitching rotation. CC, Lee, Petite, Hughes, and AJ in the mix...lethal

3.87 ERA - Post Season Games Pitched/Played 41 - W/L 19-9. That's a 3.87 ERA in 256 innings pitched with a WHIP of 1.3
