Well, you can't, like a few people have said, say anything about them when you have never done them before. Like say, smoking weed, I hate it when people start shit saying that my life is ruined, I wont get a job, or I'll die...true, only if you become heavly addicted. If you're trippin on something and listening to trance its different. So you can't say anything about them when you have never used them. I do em all the time () and it's fukin good Now, I shall get back to mixing.

i agree. and the amount of peopel that die from it are laughable, government should clamp down and spend more on drink drivers and like-wise. (1000 of times more deaths per year)

never taken any class 'A' drugs, never will. i dont intend to waste my money on making myself fucked, de-hidrated (sp), and possibly dead. there called class 'A' drugs for a reason, there potentially dangerous. If they enhance your experience, good for you. Ill have more money at the end of the night, and i dont look like a complete and utter mongoloid, with glazed over eyes and drool rolling down my chin, vommiting etc. i love music enough without any aids. im not having a go, these are just things ive noticed, and i owuldnt want to be like that.

notice that ive only commented on things that are true from my perspective, i havent denied that drugs might make you feel good

well, if you read my status, it says something about a k hole

here is what i have experienced

k: the music becomes somewhat of a blur, depending on how much k you do, you can recognize the track, but its hard to really listen because you just keep zoning out.

weed: the music slows down a little, sounds a lot better, you can hear stuff you didnt hear before, its good to sit and chill too, makes you feel euphoric, mixed with k, its 10x more euphoric, but hard to concentrate

e: i only did e once, but it just made me feel good, i cant remember cuz i was too busy playing with people and eating loly pops and smoking cigarettes

shrooms: the best!! 100x better than weed, for me, the music makes me hallucinate different stuff, for example, if i look at the ceiling, lost tribe - under the red sea makes the ceiling pop out at me, while junk project - composure (original) makes the ceiling cloudy and the clouds move around

that is just what i have experienced, dont take it the wrong way though, besides weed, i havent done any of the other drugs more than 3 times

hey, settle down, if you think you get the same effect as people using drugs, you are wrong, doing drugs and listening to music is a whole different world, that you havent experienced, i am not saying its better, but it is a different kind of fun, i think that is what he means when he keeps replying to your post, because there is no way you get the same effect, you might think you do, but you dont, just remember, it is a different kind of fun, since you have never tried drugs before, it is something you cant even imagine, no matter what people explain, like if you look at my previous post in this thread, all that explaning i did is nothing compared to the real thing

music doenst sound the same, imho, the music induces a euphoria in you, depending on the drug, when i did e at an e party, the music sounded kind the same,but once again i dont remember as i was playing too much, but for weed and shrooms, its much better, weed 10x better, and shrooms 100x better

No it's true mate. I have to take drugs to make the music sound good otherwise I just go mad. You see I have a confession to make, I hate trance. I listen to rap & UK Garage usually but I go to trance clubs coz I like looking at the cybergirls' legs.

shrooms are faaking wikked at a party...the lights are so bright and trippy and the music takes on you on a very trippy experience..

e and shrooms mixed is the best you can do!

class A drugs are the most powerful drugs. things like crack cocaine, heroin, XTC etc.

IMHO weed enhances music the best.

I used to just smoke a joint, turn off the light and then lie on my bed listening to trance. Taucher - Pictures of Gallery sounds especially beautiful.

xtc didn't enhance music at all for me. Atmosphere became totally different, but music remained the same.

This w/e just passed, I chowed half a trip and a fair amount of shrooms, and whilst I was mixing at the house party, 2 tracks of mine really blew my mind.

what a good thread... i blaze a lot and listen to music.. actually every time im stoned i listen to music, its just my thing.. whether it be in the car or at my house or whatever.

i love that few seconds when you just feel yourself becomming totally immersed in the sounds and you feel so aware of everything and then you think to yourself.. "holy shit i'm stoned!"

bud and any sort of electronic music is just great because there are all sorts of random and ectranneous noises that you never notice but all pop out at the time.. that and songs seem to last forever and every second is pure bliss.

i was "clean" when i started to listen to trance. But my friend who got me into trance kept on telling me "Yo you have to try E, i know u dont do drugs but since u like trance u cant miss this oppurtunity" and finally after a year of nagging i tried it out and it FREAKEN BLEW MY MIND... haha actually i was a total fuck up for 2months rolling every week, but i think people who get really into e can relate that you wake up one day thinking "OMG IM FUCKED UP" I think the after effect eventually gets to a point where the high isnt worth it. So i stopped poppong em like candy but i still do it once a while, knowing ill be messed up the next day, cuz the experience of e with trance is crazy. Anyway the point of this lame story is

1) you cant say anything about anything without having tried it
2) your life doesnt end because you take drugs, well for some...
3) your right u dont need E for trance..... but it sure enhances the experience

oh and relating to this thread... if im on something i love the buildups.... i just kick myself in the butt for not being able to have heard vengaboys-kiss (airscape remix) at a club rolling.... i guess i have to be satisfied with listening to it sober in my room

I use drugs for fun and to enjoy music and parties on a different level, and I can still enjoy trance without the aid of drugs though, so it's all good.

If I want energy to dance or feel a nice rush or euphoria, I'll just drop a pill or do some ice (clean crystal meth), but lately I haven't been doing much drugs, because I respect them enough not to abuse them.

Acid or shrooms or weed can be fun while listening to trance and just chillin or hallucinating, not so much to dance too....

K sucks for listening to trance because all it does is make me not pay attention to the music as much and then I feel like sitting down or eventually K holing if I end up doing too much of it.

I got my new girl to try somE for the first time. She mostly likes 80's..*gag*.. so I put in for her ISOS3, Blank&Jones, Armin, Matt Darey, Push.. I got to learn her about breaks, progressive, epic, Acid, Goa, etc.. and she said she was actually enjoyin it She agreed to go to area 2 with me.. she has no idea what shes in for.. muhahhaaha.

For me personally, when I'm on e, it transforms the music I'm listening to into an almost undescribeable phenomenon thats hard to explain. Some people get it, others don't. Some go to a party to get "fucked up" but for me it has and always will be about the music.
I can hear a song while on E and it will sound 1 million times better than the song sounds when I hear it sober. That is the reason I take e at parties. It opens up a part of your mind to receive the music in a way never before possible. However I understand that this is the way it is for me personally. My experiences and interpretation of drugs and their related affects upon me apply to me and me alone. It is wrong for one person to say this is the way something is because no 2 of us are alike. I agree with what many have already said in that it is ignorant for a person that has never tried something to even attempt to comment on it. Drugs for me were nothing like I thought they would be. Simply put, they blew my mind, in sensible proportions of course, and I think I'm a better person for it.

i did e once in at a trance party and i don't want to do it anymore since it was sooooooo amazing!
