You're first mistake is in not knowing what the fucking rules/protocol of tranceaddict are. This is NOT the promotions forum #1, so NO he is NOT "on topic". And he shouldn't be advertising his illnamed sample pack in this forum in the first place.

Explain to me exactly how that makes him "on topic" please?

Second, "reasonable" is a more subjective term. You may think he's being reasonable just because you worship the music he makes, thats still no justified grounds to ignore how unreasonable he has actually been, telling US if we need tuts we can use google, not realizing him fucking self if I WANT an electro sample pack, SAME WAY if I want a tut, I WILL USE GOOGLE.
So based on his logic of "just use the internet", how is he being reasonable by forcing that shit into a forum where its not even allowed? Not to mention this forum is actually FOR tuts (among other shit), which is why I don't go google and usually will come here to learn. But I ASSURE YOU, I dont come into the production forum with my wallet open hoping to see this shit.

You're prob mad that some people came at him so hard. But the fact remains that because he IS a more established producer, he should have some fundamental common sense as to what would happen going into a production forum to spam us with his ads.
Should he have known we would have all been "whiney" bitches? No. He had no way in hell of knowing how insane TA is at times. But he STILL should have known that noone wants to come on this forum to buy shit. Once a product is established, and gains a track record, that is different. But if you don't have millions for advertising, its genuinely a good idea to think of a better name than "electrozylium" or w/e the fuck its called. Sounds worse than something I'd pick out a hat. Someone could have calmly pointed that out to him instead of having 20 people clusterfuck him with insults acting like he's fucking destroying this forum from the inside out by making one little thread. Hey more exposure helps set an example so it doesn't need to happen ever again. Look at that evil bitch Jennifer Petkov. Was international exposure in 1 week an "overreaction"? Of course, all she did was taunt some dying 7 year old girl on facebook. Sure it was bad but by no means a "justifiable" reaction how the public behaved.

And look how well it turned out. By week 2 her house was getting trashed and she had recieved multiple death threats. I guarantee for the next 10 years you won't ever hear a story like that again.

If I handled this thread cooly and calmly, he very likely would have tried bumping it 1 or 2 weeks from now. Or someone different all together would have assumed TA is full of a bunch of pushovers, and just done the same thing he did. What also happens when you're polite, is that people think they have the leeway to engage you and impose their logic. You try to be polite again, and they keep pushing thier point. THATS when threads REALLY wind up getting long. We'd prob be on page 14 now if people weren't such jackasses.
I know perfectly well I come off retarded at times or like a jerkoff, its nothing really new. But I also pick and choose to do it when I think its important.
Theres someone else on this forum (actually a lot of people) who advertise their shit in the production studio. That one guy with the cosmos sample packs and alanzo too. When I first heard the cosmos guys basslines I liked them, but I was still pissed he was spamming the forum.
Someone asked him a question like "what do you use for your bass" and all he did was write 1 sentence how 90% of his bass are made with sylenth and the other 10% a virus. Immediately, just because I saw he was WILLING to answer questions, I lost all desire at that point to be a jackass to him. He doesn't post regularly, but he also doesn't take the position "I'm too good to reveal secrets/help you people". I instantly got that snobby impression from lax, which obviously provoked me.

Another one is Alanzo. He use to post more reguarly, and I didn't mind his presets at all. But now its come to the point where the ONLY time you ever see him is when hes got a new pack out. That doesn't bother me like lax bothers me, but it IS starting to piss me off slowly more and more. And next time he does I'll prob "flip the script"... yo.

Present a side to you that is human and approachable, not one that makes you look like a selfish, heartless salesman. Alanzo knows damn well this isn't the forum for it too which makes it worse. Its not enough he lists it on ebay or the promotion forum but he really has to put that shit here too? It just signifies greed and a higher respect for money than people. I could likely even benefit from some of his work I just don't care for the way he advertises it. "Pay the full price or pay w/e you want". It sounds rational to some people, but thats one of the worst sales tactics in the world. You either set a price or you make it all free. But when you do shit like that you wind up communicating to people "my product really is worth nothing, but I'm still not going to stop trying to profit off it". A customer wants to see first that a business actually believes in their product before they buy it.
I judge the quality of the presets I can't hear by the fact that hes NOT willing to set a standard price. That to me means he hasn't even convinced HIMSELF yet that his product is worth something. So why should I assume it is?
Fuck catering to rich and poor people at the same time. In a way he's trying to be so overtly honest, and "fair", in the hopes he will actually be trusted and wind up making more money. Like wtf? Thats shady shit, I'm bound to trust you less. HOW MUCH is your product worth? Sell if for what its worth to you, not what you think its worth to every individual person in the world.

And yeh this has not a fucking thing to do with the OT. I can't help it sometimes cause like you said I'm retarded. But I still realize deep down in the abyss that is kysoras heart, you DO actually love me.
