Props to the AuTA crew who showed up and gurned hard at the front - Tranzmit, dj_orpheus, JoeCool, Imabug, and morro I guess too
Bigups to the Altitude crew - a lot of the issues from the first night were resolved - ie the fans, sound was MUCH better, good to see the laser and strobe .. good stuff!!
Joecool - the bald dude after the live performance was Sample Gee, top notch performance and some absolutely killer tracks. Check out his Lagered Elevation series of CDs - fully recommended... and yes, that girl in the Angel shirt was HOT! Was funny when she lent on the turntable platform though...
Anyone know the name of about the 4th-5th track played by Diggs & Morro? Sweet vocal track, had the lyrics "oh won't you stay with me" in it .. morro i know i asked u after your set what the track was but i can't remember for the life of me what u said

Wat a fucken wicked night. Have to say that it topped the first one.
Met so many new people, partied with the other familiar faces. All night i noticed smiles all round. Tehy still had a few hiccups with the sound though. Every once in a while, the bass would cut out. Apparently the amps couldnt handle it. None the less, didnt dampen the night in the slightest.
Does any one know the second track that sample Gee dropped. really familiar but i dont know what its called. Lots of vocals in it.

Sample Gee was unbefuckinlievable, I've never seen a local Dj kill a place so well as he did. Ask Morro, he was dancing like a f00 like the rest of us to his set. He even gave me a CD and signed it though some wanker ran off with it (unless Orpheus has it)
I'd travel to see his play again, he really was class

By the way, what tracks were played?
It did seem like a good night. I was in and out of there a lot 'cause my girelfriend went to RPA so I missed heaps. Who was it that dropped Solarcoaster at the start of their set? Thought I saw Webmeister but then I saw someone else that kind of looked like his avatar so I decided I couldn't decide who it looked more like. and I saw JoeCool but had no idea who you were. Was that gurner your're talking about a tall red haired guy?
i was a tall red haired guy wearing a white shirt.... but no way in hell was i gurning.... lol i had just finished work after 9 hours and had to work around midday the next day so no way could i even if i wanted to....
nah the gurner im talking about was some dude up the front... tallish guy was with some chick i think who was pretty tasty.. all i remember was having one of those cd's in my hand they were giving out then he snatched it from me...
if i wasnt so tired i would have cared...

And yeah, I was wearing a black shirt with white dragons and Bruce Lee on it .. I was up on the podium at the left for a while, and then was front row centre for most of the rest of the night (except for about 15 minutes when Diggs & Morro's mates crushed me out of the way )
It's now ~7:30pm on monday night and I've had 12hrs sleep since 8:00am friday. 
Altitude .002 was awesome! Pure trance has finally come back to Sydney.
Lee Hardy opened with come killer progressive trance which was just right to build the mood for Liquid M (did you know Lee is a chef?). Liquid M was just what the doctor ordered. When that HOT (:eyespop singer started the vocals that just blew the roof off.
Sample Gee proved (to me anyway) that local djs (I know he's from N.Z.) can match it with the best of them. His use of the sampler or sequencer or some effects machine was perfect. It greatly improved the quality of the current song. He was obviously a man who knows and loves trance because the way he played to the crowd was sensational. A real journeyman. (to TBA: he played Solar Stone - Solarcoaster @ the beginning)
My good mates, Diggs & Morro, were up next and the journey continued very nicely for the next 1.5hrs. I can never seem to remember the name of the songs that were played during the night. I'll make sure I get a playlist nextime. Let's just agree that it was all good. Very good.
I only caught a little bit of Simon Sez, good while I was there.
I went with my mate Kerrin Hughes (I think he'll be playing @ the next one) and it was good to see Tranzmit again (next time we'll be able to go back to yours) and webmeister. Sorry I didn't meet you Yoda, but I did see you there. Next time we should organise a proper meet up.
It was then onto Musikal Klouds 4 out @ some sports centre in Giraweena. Kerrin was playing from 2-3am b2b with Jim Jams and he made sure he played (on-loan from my bro) Icarus - Furlicht(?). It went off! Some other good trance Djs on the night were Stylez and Nex LeVel. We walked out @ 8:00am, went back to my place, then decided to go to...
Sounds on Sunday. Saw Andrew James play. Always awesome. Spent most of the night in the funky house/breaks room though because by that stage I was pretty tired 
. Finished there @ 10:00pm and finally decided to go home and go to bed, as I had to be @ uni @ 9:00am today.
I think it was a pretty good weekend. Gonna go to bed now. See you all @ the next Altitude, which, as rumor has it, is on the 13th September.
