the bad:
i never trust top lists because they have a lot of new recent songs that shouldn't be up there but they are because they have a temporary hype. these songs are put up there prematurely and ruin the purpose of the list. there fore almost any list fails to stay tru to their purpose.

the good:
how ever the brilliant thing about this list is that we can use it as a referral to the "noobs" when they approach us now with question about what to listen.

i wasn't aware Say Hello was a trance track

York - Reachers of Civilization is not on the list at all. That's one of the best songs on any ISOS.

7. Gaia - Tuvan (Original Mix)
12. Armin van Buuren ft. Sharon Den Adel - In And Out Of Love (Original Mix)

then armada noobs come here and wonder why we're hating on them lol

quite nice list actually besides some that are horribly misplaced (or worse, not even trance to begin with). but it's still okay and the Top 3 is really good.

yeah but at the same time the older trance generation that have been around for 10 years or more can't be bothered to go vote.... so there u go

Posted by drEamer on Dec-21-2010 21:03:

am i blind or is C-Sharp not on this list?

Posted by ZeeRobot1 on Dec-22-2010 13:55:

#29: Armin van Buuren & Dj Shah feat. Chris Jones - Going Wrong (Armin Van Buuren's Extended Mix)

OF ALL TIME?? So many other good songs that deserve higher up than this garbage.

ooh interesting, I have never heard this before!

Yes, the list is a little scrambled. Like, all due respct to the DJ's but tracks like Suburban Train are just automatics to people of most tastes....should be way higher!

^^ wow, throw back!

reading down that list brought back all kinds of memories. even got chills listening to some of them again. Glad to see some of the classics by Robert Miles, Cosmic Gate etc on the list.

Thought I might have seen at least one of these titles on the list as well...

just looked at the list again, and unless i missed it
i didnt see this beauty of a song, very shocked it didnt make the list at all since it was one of, if not the biggest song of 2004 i remember almost every dj hammering it

first song that got stuck in my head when i started going out. first time i ever went to pacha was for gnd. I had no clue who they were but that mindcircus shit was hot FIYA lol

The list was pretty accurate to an extent but at the same time they had songs on that list that aren't even trance and songs that should have been higher or lower. Gaia - Tuvan #7? Really? And the lack of PVD in the top 100 is bs. Yeah he's not all that now but his older stuff was superb and that's something that shouldn't go unnoticed. I also see a lot of unnecessary Armin songs. Don't get me wrong, he had a lot of good stuff but some of his songs aren't top 100 worthy compared to others. i.e. In and out of love and Going Wrong, etc. Pretty decent list though otherwise.

Posted by drEamer on Dec-24-2010 16:12:

still...where is The Quest-C-Sharp?

Posted by DesMc8 on Dec-24-2010 20:24:

I know most people have their own definition of what a "classic" is...but damn, there is some stuff on here that just shouldn't be. And in the top 100 more importantly cuz it's just wasting space. Personally I don't think In and Out Of Love and Going Wrong is trance, but who am I to judge what's trance and what is not.

But come on...how on earth is there not a SINGLE Oliver Lieb track in the top 100. Goes to show he really is one of the most underrated pioneers in the history of EDM.

And #230 is Ghosts N Stuff. I just LOLed so loud that it scared my cats away.

I'm gonna stop here cuz the more I go through this list the more it pisses me off. "Exactly" at 323... what the FUCK!?!?

theres def a few tracks from other artists that should be higher, but i agree with you about lieb

The thing is... most people that listen to Trance (and especially the type that go on the internet and vote for things like this) likely started listening to it sometime in the last couple of years and don't have a clue.

Seriously. I don't see them surfing TA on Christmas Morning hahahaha!!

454. Svenson & Gielen - Twisted (Original Mix)

Posted by a.l.d.i. on Dec-25-2010 18:27:

we speak and mock noobs for voting for new comer that don't deserve the spot, at the same time people like us , who have been into trance for more then a decay most likely did not vote.

i didn't. That's because i knew or rather thought it would been pointless. I'm surprised that this list is not that tainted though and now i kinda feel guilty for not cheeping in! dang!

As i said previously. i have book marked this list and as soon as some one ask me what kind of trance artist he/she should listen to, i will gladly refer them to this list.
