edit: It was way easier for dickheads to be "cool" in high school because everybody else around them was also still immature. Ya dig?

Oh, got it.

Wait, I've just got an idea! If I post a passive-but-not-really-agressive message on your wall, it's not going to cause any more drama, is it?

back on topic though, i've seen that so many times on my newsfeed. it's always fuckin' dumb bitches too. this one female one of my guys is dating has some serious issues, and bitches about him and his mother on facebook all the time (but doesn't say names), to which all her dumb friends comment and say shit like "oh yeah i understand" "you go girl" "etc"... shit drives me nuts.

i commented one time and said "well, you could always do the adult thing and try to mediate your problems face-to-face with the people involved instead of complaining on the internet about it" to which she replied "if you don't like what i'm saying then get off the internet" LOL. dumb bitch.

That's not what I'm saying. The point is that some people just never learn from the fumblings of their youth.

LOL. Before I got to the part about her response I knew it would be some shit like that.

Bahahaha no. I'm sure nobody will have any idea what's going on.

Posted by Lira on Dec-23-2010 16:54:

Passive-Festive message properly posted.

oh shit i got this one bitch who was a crackhead and a junkie for a few years, got clean, and now she's on a holier-than-thou fucking ego trip on facebook. bitch sends me messages occasionally preaching the word of narcotics anonymous to me.. ffffuuuu- then she'll post on her wall trivial, vague, cliche statements like "we are our own worst enemies" and other fucking anti-drug message mumbo jumbo. *claws eyes out*

then there's another one who thinks she's goddamned buddha or something, posting these nonsensical quotes daily like she's some sort of clever person.. guaranteed she gets a "motivational quote of the day" email and copy-pastes it into facebook. here's some of her gems-

Love is like a booger. You keep picking at it until you get it, then wonder what to do with it.
Selfishness is the greatest curse of the human race
"If you wish to achieve worthwhile things in your personal and career life, you must become a worthwhile person in your own self-development"
If you marry a man who cheats on his wife, you'll be married to a man who cheats on his wife. And vise versa!" (i ended up commenting on the idiocy of this one)

some fucking deep, intellectual shit there, huh? my mind is fucking blown by her wisdom. oh my god, my life has been thoroughly enriched.

Posted by Lira on Dec-23-2010 17:10:

"Even if you don't know what love is, you can always ask not to be hurt any more".

There, I like my inspirational quotes better.

i'm going to use that friend's relentless logic to inspire me to create my own deeply insightful inspirational quote.

"a polished turd is still a turd... and you can only polish a turd so much... before the turd smears all over your polishing rag and ruins it and anything else that you happen to polish with that rag."

there. it's not perfect. but, i mean, at least i'm making an effort here. FUCK i'm so god-damned deep.

I just went back and read all my status updates from the last year and a half or so. My favorite was something like this:

My wife honest to goodness just asked me: "Did you like the smell of that thing I put in the toilet this morning?"

Posted by Renzo on Dec-23-2010 17:17:

Did you ask her, "yeah, but who in their right mind puts freshly-baked cinnamon buns in the toilet, anyway? Weirdo."

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Dec-23-2010 17:18:

Well... did you?

Posted by Renzo on Dec-23-2010 17:18:

Hal enjoys toilet talk. And whores.

Preferably at the same time.

A friend had a quote that was supposedly from Plato as his status on gtalk, something like "Some kids are afraid of the dark, and some grown-ups are afraid of the Light" (based on a quote Plato apparently never said: "We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light."). It used to strike me as so condescending because his religion is "the Light" (it's a common metaphor used by them) and anyone that isn't into it is supposedly afraid of "the knowledge".

One day I eventually told him that I wasn't afraid of their beliefs, they just didn't make any sense.

Edit: Ooops

Did you have an enjoyable conversation with yourself?

Posted by Renzo on Dec-23-2010 17:22:

Yeah, but Lira only has Japanese people on his FB.

And really, they only see half the screen.
