Here's what I got bitches:

Mango is more tart than sweet and a reisling would be pretty gross.
edit // I don't know why we're arguing this point. A 12 year old's palette isn't refined enough to know the difference between good and bad champagne anyway.
Right? Shoulda just stuck with wine coolers.
Spiked Capri Sun ftw
Does anyone else thing Champaign is the worst hangover alcohol (I mean in that if you are hung over feeling its the last thing you want to smell/taste)?
I don't know why, but it always reminds me of vomit.
If you can't afford decent champagne, your next year is going to suck just as much.

Also, you don't have to spend a lot of money to find a nice champagne or sparkling wine. You just have to know where to look. Don't go to a supermarket or a liquor store because they're just going to have the standard shit. Go to a place that specializes in wines or alcohol and check their selection.
My favorite sparkling wine is by Gloria Ferrer. It's a California vineyard so we get it pretty cheap out here.

| Originally posted by Moongoose You californias have it lucky, since that part of the us is basically the vine country and there are many great vineyards within a few hours driving distance that specialise in a good sparkling wine. Champagne is a bit trickier for anyone outside europe since in order to be called champagne it has to come from the champagne region, but find a proper vendor and all is well. Tonight we are getting wasted on Krug! |
You're supposed to serve salmon with a white burgundy or even a pinot noir.
/posh alcho
I said fuck it and we celebrated b4 the new year. Usually I or the ppl throwing the party get a cheap bottle but this one was really special. We were savoring it through out the night.

| Originally posted by bas Yeah exactly. I kind of took California wines for granted until I went to a few vineyards up north, they are actually REALLY good. I have a new found love for Zinfandels from the Sonoma region |
But the Sonoma Zins are really magnificent

In Russia, we also celebrate the Old Year. Before it hits midnight, we open a bottle and say our farewells for 2010. : ] WAT.
How anyone can drink anything other than good red wine is beyond me.
