I'd go if this was in Finland. Too bad it isn't.

Ah, cool. I knew he had been writing new stuff to be released this year, but didn't know it was going to be being released soon or that it had been named.

Also has a link to the stems.

Personally I love the track, but I'm kind of biased

Did you get the stems? Did ANYONE get the stems?? They're not online anymore!

edit: never mind I was wrong

Posted by Lews on Jan-18-2011 02:37:

Yeah, I got the stems. Not that I'll do anything with them for a while lol.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Jan-18-2011 02:46:

More people should be attending this. Especially you, Lews.

I dunno, I think the track is a lil strange but I do like many of their older productions. This should def be a massive event. Have fun!

Agreed. I loved "Nature" influence AOT and Union Jack.

But I guess they ran out of animals / countries that would be good for a track name.

Posted by RebeL9 on Jan-18-2011 20:39:

I love the track. What is most impressive is that there is barely any trance of that kind made nowadays.

Posted by Dj Pluviose on Jan-20-2011 00:09:

Wow... so is this a modern redefining of what original Trance should be like?

Because I feel it...

That song was full on hypnotic, had the "acid feel" to it, and had the beautiful underground sound that makes it not DASH BERLIN commercial/cheese.

That's respect...

This IS a new track right?

Armin should start taking notes NOW.

armin does not deserve to have anything to do with this sort of music - leave him to his mindless drivel

Its a shame all you can understand is the commercial trance scene.

Not particularly. It's just a classic trance record that has been made in 2011. Nothing redefined about it.

Posted by Adam420 on Jan-20-2011 01:06:

Well with all due respect Jack having been produced so recently hardly makes it a classic now does it? Classic-sounding maybe.

Anyway, AOT has always been my favorite trance outfit. I wouldn't really consider going to a trance event anymore but I'd go to this one in a heartbeat if I could.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Jan-20-2011 01:10:

I mean "classic trance" as in the style. There's no real name for it... "real trance" or "original trance" don't really cut it.

Posted by Adam420 on Jan-20-2011 01:11:

Ok, so this did not sound more like trance than a lot of "techno" being put out these days. Yes it may be a little busier than most, but just did not have the drive and the texture that made it actually feel like trance.

I got into the commercial scene in 2008 when Armin made In & Out of Love and Dash Berlin had Till the skies fall down.

in 2009, I was still listening to semi commercial stuff.
then in 2009, something amazing happened, I heard Suburban Train and Silence live and it made me appreciate old school Trance. since then, I started looking up old school tracks instead of new ones

but I've stranded away from all the commercial shit in 2010

so please dont assume that I'm into commercial trance as of now

The song is great, and I think AOT will be playing this song live too. wow, it's gonna hit the floors hard!

Damn I wish they would come to America in San Francisco!!!

Someone better record this :3
I would hella go to see these guys.

Just as an fyi, tracks like silence and suburban train were considered as commercial trance when they came out. You still have no idea when it comes to anything "old school" or "underground".

Somebody get this guy a link to a j00f set or something ffs.

edit: and I hope that at the very least, having heard that track will compel you to look into their older stuff.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Jan-20-2011 02:04:

This kid tries hard, but it's like he can't help but make himself an absolute target.

I actually thought you were being sarcastic, would not have made a snide comment otherwise.

My apologies.

Sample sounded pretty nice. Looking forward to what Porcupine has to offer.

I was just looking for hotels in Manchester, and then I saw this...

A contender appears!

Now I don't know what to do in Feb.

Both, duh. You UK people take good trance events for granted

i agree, the scene is so diluted with thousands of tracks released every week. And yet you cant find anything that has this kind of old school sound.
