its okay Hal, I'm here for you
Shaw likes NIN?
That explains everything.

I'm going to need some details here.
Hal and I got into some big nin debate years ago.

If you're both big NIN fans, what was the argument about?

I just like music that can sound like fresh rice crispies raped with milk and pigs blood.
Fan is a stretch, I went to Korea, fans are bad for you.

Shaw used to like NIN, later rejected them, Hal became upset, and shaw retracted his earlier statement?
That explains everything.
I just realized I was being dumb (and grew up) and stopped.
Well, this clearly deserves a FB post in your honor.

I really don't even feel like I addressed your question though.
A lot of people are really mad at Trent somehow for no longer making the music he did in the early 90s. I think those people are fucking dicks, and even Trent himself has addressed them publicly by saying something along the lines of them 'assuming he can't do good work when he's not on the verge of killing himself all the time'. He used to be a genuinely unstable guy, and now he is much better. I cannot conceive of how one might think this is a bad thing.
But then again a lot of rivetheads resent him just on principle. And even I would like for him to speak more about his memories of Peter Christopherson, who died just last year, but this is rather greedy and prying of me, I suppose.

What persona does NIN have, igk?
