Yes, because I'm a crazy brainwashed moral jackass to think that half the people are forcing themselves to have a great time

I was talking about the "ableist" part you posted... or did you not understand that word?

Jumping to lots of assumptions tonight, aren't we?

well then if you do understand that word, then you must believe I was being blatantly discriminatory since you left it in your post. When I reacted, you only mentioned that you were talking about "half the people in clubs acting like they're having a great time"... so if you think I was being discriminatory, then it is you that is jumping to assumptions, chief. Please explain how what I said was "ableist".

I was in a wheelchair for 2 years due to a motorcycle accident and yes you do feel miserable watching your friends having a great time dancing and chasing ass like kev said.

But then again I was 17 at that time ... I guess now it wouldn't matter much because I mainly go out to a club or party just to hear a good groove .

you're joking right? I'm being discriminatory because I think it's counterproductive for one to place himself in a potentially depressing situation if they happen to be in an emotionally fragile state?

My friend is in a wheelchair, has been his whole life. He parties harder than anyone i've seen, also pulls the girls too

The best thing is when i sit in it for a while and then get up to dance, everyone looks at you with a WTF face

Wow, seriously? I never knew that about you. Glad you recovered man. The world would be a lesser place without that sideways smile

Actually, it's probably the healthiest thing for them. Apart from studying astrophysics at Cambridge.

The worst thing probably being stuck at home all day, every day, and never allowing yourself to live your life despite your handicap. It's why some physically disabled people are fucking crazy - they're basically imprisoned, you know?

Also, when you do get tail, she does all the work!

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Mar-14-2011 15:31:

I'd rather go to a club, enjoy the music, have some drinks, socialise and regret that I can't dance than stay at home and regret that I'm not doing any of those things. Besides, being confined to a chair has never stopped me raving hard while listening to mixes at work or in the library.

Obviously I do feel bad for them, but you always feel bad when you see a disabled person being impaired by their condition. At least going to a club is more empowering than being thwarted by some steps outside a building.
