So what, I like it at the moment, I can't post it?

Edit: Oh, and I'd be interested in hearing more tracks of that style also.

Just saying that it's a cracker tune

You would be surprised lots of people know but not everyone.

This might be a good place to link to a few of my free music top tens:

Nostromo is better IMO. I like Zerotonine but guys like Opsy and Cold Project really mastered that sound. You should check them out if you haven't.

Great track. The guitars are a bit overdone though, imo...

I really need to do a fun psy mix again. All of the tracks I want are in poor quality or not on youtube. `

A song i've had in my head lately.
Prog Psy i guess.

Thanks a lot I grew up with most of these. Goa/Psy was the first EDM I had heard and just lean towards Goa more cuz Psy is just too 'synthetic' as far rhythms go and other nuances. Plus I always like chanting and the ancient ritualistic exotic tones. I like a lot of world fusion.

The fact you only list MWNN, Astral Projection and Juno Reactor suggests you haven't actually heard much psy in the first place. .

The fact that I previously stated Goa being my favorite of the two should have already made that apparent. Plus Psy just always seem too commercial to me. I hate to say that because I don't want to discredit any Psy-TAs and producers here. I like Psy as well. It's great this music still has a following and is produced

Does anyone know of Psychedelic Trance tracks with: shamanic chants, eastern sounds, or that slow driving Oakenfold Goa

Much appreciated, Thanks

I take it you're familiar with Shpongle and stuff like Mystery of the Yeti?

Posted by Syntonic on Mar-24-2011 01:05:

Yes I have been Shpongled many a times. Great stuff, reeks originality. Mystery of The Yeti same thing, Tribal Gathering kicks my ass every time, what a mind journey(nice & Steady, yet energetic); love that damn flute and chanting. Those are the Goa tracks I love cuz it was so carefree and lasted forever. Those older Goa albums really flowed and took you somewhere. Both have really good chillout stuff too.

Here's another track I always liked. Its off the Cosmic Cubes compilation.

one last track lol, I can babble about Goa all day:

Meh. That was okay. It was certainly fun and energetic, but nothing stuck out at all. Psy is dying so hard Ideas are hard to come by.

No need to worry, only this substyle will die, good psy will always appear. I might suggest a new release which is quite stomping, check here:
