well everyone seems to joke on here all the time, and because one person has an extremely large score its obvious they spend a lot of time on their computer / or type alot, fast. so i said "get a life" as a joke. what the fuck is peoples problem? i guess you should all mind your own business, since this is being sorted out through PM'n. project T... you said i said something stupid... I guess ive obviously missed something here, cos there really isnt anything wrong with what ive said.... so can someone tell me.. is there something i dont know or overlooked? a simple yes or no might be nice.. i dont see my comment as being offensive unless there is more too it, which i am obviously un aware of.

I killed it, too much spyware in the software and it kills so much processing power as well as taking up bandwitdh
it made my system noticeabley slower.

by any chance is your comp a 386 ??? and i run a 56k and it makes fuk all difference even during a pulse

actually neo is right. if anyones got black ice, shuv it on and watch the warnings you get. Its possible it could be getting things we type in also, such as passwords. and dont dissmiss that, its more than possible. good programmers, particularly ones trained in windows an unix environments could easily set a trigger everytime IE or Netscape or whatever asks for a password, or even worse for the lamers who have passwords automatically entered. Somehow i think theyd be more interested in credit card numbers than your email account, but i think im being a bit far fetched there. There probably making use of your computers hardware, mor than likely processing power.

imm not 100% sure about the spyware thing, it uses like 0.01% of my cpu power and if you look at the top 20 the Overclockers UK site is in 19th place and i cant see them runnin a program that includes spyware, plus ad-aware says my system is spyware free as well as 3 other spyware/trojan scanners

Before installing this pulse thing, my adaware had 3 spyware refs
and they are to do with kazza and left installed to make kazza work
my firewall blocks gator on kazza accessing the net

after installing this pulse thing after a day or so wondering why my firewall kept coming up with all sorts of alerts, i use zone alarm pro btw, i ran adaware again and had 33 ! spyware refrences
removing the pulse from my system immediately killed 15 of those refrences ran adaware again to clean the rest of the shit
since removing pulse my bandwitdh is back to normal and my PC is also up to speed

and fyi its a P3 777mhz with 512mb sd133 Ram
and handles most things with no trouble at all
i did see a noticeable difference running the pulse
anyway it and all spyware is now gone from my PC and its working back to 100%

AdAware would pick it up as spyware, it's collecting info and sending it to a server. Adaware don't know you're happy with this
