do i really strike you as a person that would attend trance events?
booking lieb together with above and beyond sais alot about the arrangers imo lol. thats like booking guetta and speedy j to the same party, clearly only guetta fans will show up and then be disappointed of jochens act because they dont have a clue. speedy j fans will stay away because of guetta. same at the party u talk about, clearly only above and beyond fans would show up, and thinking yeah ive heard about lieb, its trance so its gonna be like a&b. yeah right.
I would rather see AVB then Lieb, such a worthless DJ. However his trance productions are quality.

oliver lieb = tupac of electronica
he has an enormous catalogue with classics and ok tracks.
yeah and train of thought 1.1 is my favorite.
Does anyone have any Lieb sets? Never heard any DJ or live acts from him except and essential mix.
Yeah his music is suited more for those seedy underground concrete wall clubs, little to no lighting so your concentration is on the music. But people today want 'fun' music.
I have his 1997 06 20 - Innertrance
Upping if you want it. But I'm going to school nao, so there will be some wait time..
Thanks Vernon Wanderer that would be really cool to hear. Do you know of a good place to find more older Lieb sets?
Here you are:

This is the kind of fanboy apoplexy I just don't buy into. It's not as though I don't like Lieb - I bought A Day On Our Planet just a couple of weeks back, and I'm going to see him DJ at the end of the month.
But when I was getting into trance, Oliver Lieb was producing mediocre tracks like Subraumstimulation and his remixes of shit like Flight 643, Far From Over and Starry Eyed Surprise. For a long time that was my impression of him - a middling techy-trance producer.

Probably Netherworld, although for pure PLURPROG raveyness the Jules Verne CUT really tickles my fancy.
