and, if i get picked, i will see you there
for sure! increasing prices is something that we're all going to have to get used to, unfortunately, in this industry/scene. i don't see any of my friends doing this so if i get picked i'll post here and be more than happy to bring whoever is down!

$150 is pretty much right on the mark for a popular headliner with openbar and food anywhere. This is what the Sander K cruise in Miami was. Now consider it's NYC, July 4th during the fireworks, they could get away charging a lot more honestly.
I'll be coming home from Ibiza that afternoon so this would be a great way to keep the afterglow going. I wanted to use my roofdeck to watch the show from Queens but I think they're only doing the Hudson River this year. Fuck Jersey man, it should be the East River if you're only going to do one.
edit:
My GF just got the invitation. She RSVP'd two days ago I believe. It was indeed $150 + $4~ fee
You can pick up two at a time, though the other person still has to RSVP as well.
It's something I was very excited about and would have love to do but I got friends visiting me overseas that weekend and need concrete plans. We really can't just wait and hope that we would be randomly picked to purchase tickets.
Like you guys say, $150 does sound reasonable for a open bar/dinner deal but it also depends how long the actual party is.
I hope some of the people here get's picked though!
i just got the confirmation email as well.

It will be an amazing party for sure but can't afford it
what's the dinner menu?, silly times indeed

i'm sure it'll be tasty with all the alcohol i plan to imbibe for the night.

My girlfriend got picked for the first round of tickets, so she got 2. I'm praying that I don't get called to work that day. At 5 on Monday, I'm just going to risk it.
Too bad I'm broke.
Does anyone know if there's a time limit on accepting an invite? I don't want to lose it but I also need to give my bank account a breather...
I just got my confirmation email as well!! gotta get ticket soon
and see who's gonna come with me
I hope there are multiple releases of tickets. No ticket yet and I want to go so bad!
I rsvpeeeeeed. Let's see if I get picked! It seems like every ones gfs were getting the invites, so hopefully my all mighty vagina will give me an edge...
