Then don't listen to Vocal Trance dude hahaha there are plenty of EDM sub-genres to satisfy all your needs!

Vocal trance is pap, it all started off with "as the rush comes" for me, ruined - AVB style commercial pap

I'm not against the vocals themselves. For me, it's the lyrics that does it for me. Blatant love-is-in-the-air vocal house imitations, bloated with subtle drug analogies and slightly disturbing evangelistic undertones.

I've never taken any drugs (don't even smoke or drink anything that tastes yeast), I'm an agnostic/atheist and consider the word 'love' to be a bogus term created to promote strict monogamous relationships. Thus none of the lyrics in the entire vocal trance spectrum speaks to me.

Otherwise, I have nothing against the vocalists, just make sure they sing about something that matters to me and not until then can you colour me interested. Subjects that matters to me, by the way, is anti-intellectualism, ignorance, religion, sexual frustrations, sexual taboos, escapism, violence, bigotry and so on.

For instance, I'd like to see this poem hit the clubs:
