Jesse is going to screw up something, he's falling back into his old druggie habits. As far as Walt + Gus + Mike, who knows what kind of drama is going to happen with that little triangle.

What Ziip said.
Yeah, that first season of The Wire was a real barn blazer
I can't tell if Jesse is outright depressed or just shell-shocked in some way.
And as for Walt - is he losing his shit or what? He can't actually be serious about killing Gus. That really would be something, though.

the only reason I keep watching is because of the rave reviews I hear. Its not terrible so far, just really plodding and uninteresting (with a few cool highlights, like the bathtub falling through the floor). Just seems theyve spent way too much time mainstreaming the show, by making walt (and to a lesser extent captain cook) a sympathetic character who has been driven to meth cooking to pay his medical bills. Reminds me of how they make dexter a likeable character by only having him kill bad people. Boring! Take a risk ffs.
As the show progresses, Walt as the "good guy" trying to "save his family" pretty much gets thrown the fuck out the window. There is more death and plundering and shady deals to be had.
Excellent, thats what I was hoping. Thanks!

Up until tonight season 3 has been a sort of exercise in tension. A long simmer, to say the least. We're reaching a boil
I thought the 1st ep of the season was good, but the rest have all been pretty slow.
That one part where the guy has the drugs was sweet.
are we reaching the 'backlash' section of the hype curve so soon?
lol
This season will take some time to develop. I'm sure the wait will be worth it. Someone is going to die lol.
I do think it's intentional that it's taking a while to really get going. They know what they're doing, and are building up to something worth waiting for.
I'm just not so into waiting.
The show is elegant poetry in motion. Never before have I seen such beautiful art in the form of a television show, but I come away from each episode more and more surprised and titillated by the brilliant work of each and every member of the show's cast and crew in each episode. Truly a weekly masterpiece.
Gay bro.
