I've been coming to NYC for 4 years now for Labor Day weekend. It first just started as "I have a free plane ticket, where am I going to go?" and I met up with numerous NYC TA's and a few others who also made the trip.

Then came Electric Zoo.

But it seemed even from my frist visit that NYTA's were a pretty close bunch; I find it sad that there isn't much more discussion going on I guess facebook and shit has taken over....but TA is still here! Don't forget where you came from! Plur and all that shit.

Of course, this coming from someone who has (since the signing up with TA) lived in : Ames, Iowa; Shreveport, LA; and Enid, OK. so I've never had a "subforum" like NY on TA (thus my wh0ring in the c0r).

Anyway, New York City is a great place, and y'all have a lot going for you. Everyone I've met has been friendly. I can imagine the BBQs that used to take place.
