Moi + about 7

My 4th one. Highly recommended. Very few events left like this. Kudos to Irving, Justin and Dave for making it happen. I'm stoked to see their massive new pyramid.

I might wear my german-coloured cowboy hat to cheer on Romboy

I'm one of the very few people travelling southbound for this.

Hope to see some of you TA's there - Happy Harvest!

back in one piece.
survived the cold!

Harvest was well organised, but didn't even come close to Eclipse in terms of art and music. I don't think I'll be coming back unless they make it during summer months!

Posted by Sasha on Sep-19-2011 13:48:

sorry, I wasn't commenting on the quality of music, as Techno tent was UNREAL!!
rather the amount of music. We arrived there on Friday Evening and there was pretty much no beats until 10pm on Saturday

Posted by kaniz on Sep-19-2011 15:27:

They made it clear that the music on Friday and earlier Saturday was going to be more down-tempo/chilled music. I liked what was playing for most of Friday night, and my tent was within ear-shot of it - so I could lay back in my tent and relax to it.

Harvest is rarely about the music for me though, it's more the running around and random adventures / seeing old friends / exploring the grounds / etc.

I had a great time this year (even if i danced less than I normally do).

Wow.. what a great weekend. While I definitely wouldnt mind another day of music, i had a blast.

The techno tent was insane Saturday night. Danced from 11 til sunrise when Perfect Stranger came on.

Mike Gibbs had the best set hands down. Lost my shit when i heard this.

Romboy was great but had a few flat spots.

Got to meet osunlade which was sweet. Cool dude.

While im not a psy guy, i use these festivals to get my once or twice a year kick. Felt awesome to dance to some proper trance instead of the shitty epic breakdown trance that gets served in the big city.

Next year, big as themed campsite, better costumes, and a goddamn heater. Sleeping when its -3 sucks!

I <3 Promise

It was like a party on Hoth. Toques and overcoats everywhere. I spent the night in the psy tent. Great beats into Sunday morning.

The relaxed, friendly vibe Sunday morning sets Harvest apart from anything else I have been to. I was actually thankful that the sun came up. It really helped the party come back outside.

Keep in mind that the past weekend this year was colder than usual. Normally it wouldn't get down to -3 (!!) in September. Still though, a few weeks earlier would probably be better.
