-- What is the COR's favourite 80s ballad?
Pages (3): « 1 [2] 3 »
couldn't find the one I was looking for, but this is a close second;
Many of these aren't ballads. The 9 Inch Nails stuff should be in the thread: Shit that no one will care about in 30 years.
My contrib:
I didn't realize that a 30 yr shelf life was a defining trait of ballads.
The only people who will remember Whitesnake by then is Time Life.
What's funny is that Pretty Hate Machine will be 30 years old in less than a decade.
Hairband Power Ballads =/= Ballads in general

I don't think to many people can pick just one 80's ballad. There are many great songs out there. Of the top of my head...
The Smiths - Shoplifters Of The World Unite
Alphaville - Forever Young
i had a great one but it was '93 womp womp
Here's one for you 80's music buffs...
Trying to find out what song this melody is from. It was a male singer, I think the last bar of the sample had a verse something like "conflict of a personality"
My shitty attempt at playing it:
Need ID: 80's slow song by aNYthing1
Slave to Love is a favorite as well
No Duran Duran yet?
