Fuck it, I'm in. James vs Jamie is too tempting to pass up.

I think a bunch of people are still in recovery mode after this night, insane..

I've never seen wrongbar so busy on a thu, felt like a sat night.

Quality music from everyone. James & Jamie set it up perfectly earlier in the night. Maceo was having some laptop trouble but after it was all fixed up he began playing some of his signature music, amazing, he knows how to rock a party. I loved that "The Weeknd edit" he played, that was the highlight for me. Loved jeff buttons closing set too, guy wouldn't let me go home with that tunage.. place was still rocking when i left around 4am.

I wonder if the rights were actually bought for this, if not the Weekend is getting ripped off hard...

not to hijack this thread, I just think there is a huge difference between sampling the bite of a tune vs. putting a kick drum in and calling the song your track, then selling it...

but for all I know, the Weeknd is very aware of this remix, and cut in on the royalties

I was wondering where that accapella was from! thanks!

Sweet sounds last night. I was tanked. Rarely get to go out & enjoy the beats w/ friends like I did last night. Good times. Maceo played some pretty dirty stuff. Loved it.

I actually managed to stay off my phone for most of this party, which if you know me, is a big deal

Did manage to get a short vid of Button spinning around 3:30ish. As mentioned by Gera, it was pretty damn rammed for a Thurs night.

Maceo Plex
amazing time last night in toronto.. What a ridiculously crazy crew of peeps. Thanks for the fun! off to Chicago now !
BTW forgot to mention thanks to Cedric (from AZARI & III), James Teej, and the crew for making me laugh so much i'm hurting today. And how fun it was knowing Sarah Mclachlan was there hanging out with us...listening to some underground jams. Wrongbar was a Zoo

pretty much the way its supposed to be, make a track, ask permission to use it. If not then release for free or play in your own sets.
