in fact i would say if there is any artist that has pretty much guided where kick drums have been going since 2000, it would be scot project. GO from 1999 to 20011. Every EDM genre is represented before it got big. I suppose he is a producer's producer.

Your boy seems to always have some kind of arrangement issues.

Right now I'm going through about 10 of his tracks and fixing stuff so its playable. Starting with this:

Now it sounds like this:

Its funny when you can take out an entire section of the track and it sounds 10x better. I couldn't do that with a Pryda track. lol

his form is probably his strongest skill. his arrangements are brilliant. One of the few producers that actually has a form that isn't A B A. I think often times, mediocre producers or music halfwits just don't get it as they just lack both the musical ability to recognize why something is good and the historical knowledge to understand why something is relevant novel and cutting edge. Don't know too many producers that can manipulate form the way he does.

He has a million tracks. Posting one shit remix isn't indicative of anything.

He is a producers producer. People that tend to not like him tend to be shitty producers. In fact I have yet to meet a good producer that has said otherwise. everyone who is anyone in the dance scene knows him as he has been at the forefront of every scene before it happened. Hard trance, electro, that tech trance after all the gayness post 2004 melody stuff.

The point is that in perspective , to remain cutting edge and relevant for over decade, that is what a good producer does. Maybe not the it guy but those flavour of the week who define their sound that once the genre is done , so are they, they don't come close to what zenker has done.

And since i know more than you, i win.
