Apparently people do it. Who am I to judge???

EDIT: But I can't lie, it does sound appetizing, not sure why.

ah. That makes sense. Under/oddly-cooked "calamari" is pretty vile. Just fry that shit.

One of the worst entrees I've ever had was baked calamari. It was just two slabs of it..."baked." It had the consistency of a raw chicken breast with a vaseline rub.

See, that I can handle, because it goes so great with a variety of sauces. And it's actually squid.

Italian food (in Italy) is generally great, but Napoli is kind of a cesspool.

Under betting and drunk circumstances.

My dog eats dog food and some 'human' food and if it's good enough for her, then who am I to complain. I fucking love bakers complete.

As opposed to a 'normal' horse steak?

A genuine question, as I'm hardly a horse meat connoisseur.

well in many cases the horses you eat are old racehorses that have been 'retired'.

I had whale at a sushi restaurant in LA (that was shut down a few months later due to buying whale, which is illegal here). I thought that 'market price' tuna tasted funny.

That's next on my list. I love dogs n all, but when in Rome, right? The problem is, although I expect most people here (China) to be down with that, they get offended when I ask them if they do. Damned if I do damned if I don't.

Chinese people don't eat dogs unless they have nothing left. And you know when you eat dog because it makes you sweat a lot (I've been told it's due to an enzyma or something like that).

What do you mean unless they have nothing left? Why would they have access to dog and no other food? Its served in restaurants who also have other things on the menu. The thing is - most people here feel the same way as westerners about eating dog. But they shouldn't get offended when I ask them , its a legitimate question.

In big cities, restaurants hardly serve dogs. I have only seen it once in Guangzhou (been there 7 months) but this was in poor street food booths. But I have seen people eating dogs in the poor countryside states (in Guangxi and East Yunnan), and it was only because they had no more chickens, or porks, etc.
