You know I think sometimes how can some people so stupid get so many people following them or liking what they do and it takes me back in TA History to a time, I'd say 2002-3ish where this thing happened here. A guy called Headstrong came onto the forums offering people free vinyl copies of a "brand new" song. People were intrigued but it turned out that the track itself was really piss poor amateur sounding and stuff kicked off, insults, laughs, ukta at their very best until the guy involved started posting names & what he believed to be addresses of the people involved and threatened legal action and suing us, ta and so forth, going across other forums with the same scam too (I banned him back on ivibes) Anyway time passed about maybe 18 months, 2 years later I was just reading tracklists and found that this group/person was now having their tracks played on radio1 by judge jules, dave pearce etc etc

Infact, his website is still alive here

Anyway, I think the moral of the story, it doesn't matter how bad some things are, if you push them hard enough there's always a lot of idiots who'll buy into it. It happened then and it's definitely still happening now.

I don't consider it as a suprise.

It wasn't meshblorg. It was the "VJ" chick from Salt Lake City a few months back. We raped her for spamming, and she said she would contribute to this site more than just for her benefit. She had tits, lots of nudes on the net, so swamper sided with her.

She never did contribute anything lol, just her spam thread. Endyo and Lews got banned for that too i think...i need to find the thread it was hilarious. DJRYAN dropping plur rage on all of us while still looking like a twat.

I have to sign out to view MD. That place has really gone to shit. It has always been pretty shit, but man o man....

Ya, and when she started getting flamed she tried to guilt trip everyone because she was "contributing" to the site and would "continue" to do so.

And yeah, the dumb cunt never really posted again. It really set an amazing precedent on TA: Don't harass people (with your opinion) who only use this site to promote their own shit.

I'm not sure if much of it is in threads, we'd talk in irc because all of a sudden there was a lad of 16 who was talking about music that many of those had been into for many many years as if he was a veteran. Not too different to how he is now really With me & him now it's more a personality clash I think, we both like similar musics but go about it very differently. that's life really, i've made many good friends on here who I do agree with (sometimes) musically so it doesn't bother me that much.
