With all options and other contractual obligations, they'll have paid around 35 million for Di Maria. He's particularly dangerous when he runs at players on the wing and he's the top assist-getter (11) in La Liga (Messi's second with 7), not just for Madrid, but he is a bitch, no doubt. An even bigger bitch: Marcelo, for not shaking Pique's hand at the end of the match. For all the violent, sometimes two-footed challenges I saw Madrid's back four make, I'm surprised they all lasted the 90 minutes.

Better than blowing twice the sum on Ribery. Di Maria is a quality winger, an Argentinian international and he's only 23. Of all the money they've wasted, this is an odd one to find fault with.

Mourinho has tried it all now: play-strangling, eye-poking, this was his attempt to be the nice guy and take Barcelona on straight, mano a mano, with no psychological warfare or dirty tricks. And still that bulging file lies on his desk, taunting him, laughing at him, mocking his ambitions and pretensions.

Work hard, Special One, it teases, when he is most vulnerable and alone. Work hard.

eat it putos

It's frustration I think. The guy clearly has talent and he so often sees fit to go down and roll around like a fish out of water. It's so unnecessary and annoying and it's like the boy who cried wolf because you never know if he's injured or not.

A bit like CR7 when he was at ManU

I have no thoughts on the game tomorrow except to parrot: In Pep We Trust. Simple, but true. Win, lose, or drawin Pep we trust.

Currently watching the Schalke-Man Utd game, and its tough trying to figure out who to root for, because I hate Man Utd as a Liverpool fan, but (should Barcelona get to the CL final, knock on wood, ward off evil spirits) Man Utd, I feel, would be the easier, less unpredictable team to face. Although at this point, I cant make ANY assumptions anymore, good grief!
