Something just hit me some time ago. In Europe, there's a major difference in price at the movie theaters, depending on the country. In Scandinavia, the price for a regular movie (A Dangerous Method, as an example) is about 14.86$ while in Eastern Europe, the same movie is about 4.31$. With this, I might add that the cinemas in Eastern Europe are far more elegant and comfortable than the ones in Scandinavia, from my personal experience.

So, how much does a ticket cost in your area? Would be interesting to know.

You gotta remember that the scandinavian dollars are worth less than the eastern european dollars.

I used the country's currency and converted to US $, so it should be pretty accurate.

Ah, that's good seeing how low the scandinavian dollar is now due to all the oil just sitting up in Telemark because of the strike. Hopefully they'll resolve it soon though, cus it's been expensive ordering xmas presemps on line.

That's the point I was making. It's not possible.

Regarding my statement about Eastern Europe & Scandinavia: I've lived in both for many years to that extent where I managed to understand the layers of society and how they function. It's not something randomly said, it's based on my personal observation throughout the years.

Depends on which theater you go to, but its around $9-12 regular. Never been to a regular 3D movie, just IMAX 3D and last time I went, I seen some shite movie, Contagion I believe (could have been so much better) and that was like $19 dollars.

So instead of giving some examples of your experiences you throw a one-liner as if it's some kind of self-obvious fact.

k. Legit.
