There was that one issue with mac and trilogy bass. Everything else has been smooth sailing. All their products are 64 bit, they all work flawlessly, and their customer service , god knows why you would have to use it is ridiculously
good. To the point where you ask a stupid question and they will be the ones hounding you until it is working.

One; it isn't Stylus that has the customer service, but Spectrasonics. Two; I don't find Stylus necessary for such a price nor would I call myself an idiot for not using it. I must admit however, I haven't ever used Stylus, so I am quite interested as why it is so expensive. Three; Spectrasonics does have shitty customer service. If you haven't experience it, you wouldn't know. It took them weeks to get back to my inquiry and five full months to transfer my Omnisphere license. That's bullshit service right there, if you ask me.

Where did I say Stylus was a company ? 5 months to transfer a license ? No offence as Idon't know the hole story but this sounds more like you did something stupid and are blaming the company. I enquired about a product. Reply in 45 minutes. Of course I do know how to phrase things in a manner that tends to make people act. Maybe you were really really really unlucky,. Spectrasonics is not a company known for bad service. As far as the license transferring, they clearly state they don't BUT will look at each case. So they bent their own policy to accommodate you.

That's where you said it. I'm sure I didn't screw anything up. Whenever it comes to Spectrasonics, I'm still skeptical. I'm sure I'll get over it soon, but the triple hiatus that they brought out of their ass really pissed me off. Maybe it was bad luck; who knows. Anyways, I'll see if my local store has Stylus so I can try it out.

I suppose that is the one thing I hate about their service. You shouldn't have to go to a store. Honestly. going to music stores for software is so annoying. In fact, It is a reason I don't buy certain stuff. I just can't be arsed to go to the music store. I hate them. The breed of salesmen is just out of this world.

my bad about the stylus quotation. brainfart. i did mention trilogy in the same paragraph.

It happens to the best of us.

And I do agree. I don't think it would be much trouble to provide the program itself + half a gigabyte of content as a trial/demo version. ReFX does it with Nexus; why not Spectra?

Back on topic: Ableton Live Packs are a complete waste of time. You can do a lot more with WAV files out of the box compared to Live Packs.

You're right. I'm just a jaded troll, ginning up an otherwise irrelevant controversy for the sake of my own entertainment. I haven't even given it any more thought than that.

It hurts being so two-dimensional and transparent.
