Hey Mag, thanks for listening again! I totally respect your opinion, and if a mix of mine rubs you the wrong way, I won't mind if you don't like it! I wish there were more tracks of this style to choose from. If there were more tracks like the Phutureprimitive, Gibson, or Bird of Prey ones, then I would be able to play a more solid mix.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Mindbuffer track. I played it too slow and the mid-range section isn't as cool as I initially thought it was, not to mention that it pretty much divided the mix in half. I still like the Whitebear track because it's got a very light melody to accompany the chunky dirty bearstep that track embodies.

Gonna bump this one more time. Not sure what I'm gonna play next, but stay tuned. I absolutely love posting mixes here. Since 2008 you guys have always been honest, supportive, and reliable. I've always gotten at least one reply on my early mixes and it kept me always pushing and trying to improve my style so I could really express my creativity, and most of all, enjoy it immensely. Listening to all the other talented DJ's mixes on this site inspires me and has been better than anything I could have imagined.

Thank you TA!

I don't listen to dubstep, and such aren't familiar with how it needs to be mixed, but I found this mix very interesting if you know what I mean?

More as a collection of track in a genre I am not familiar with kind of way than an actually mix where I look at transitions and progression and whatnot.

Good work!

Ziptnf - Heavier Gravity [Heavy Gravity Re-edit]

I had thought about Jack's idea a week or two ago, so I played an alternate take of this mix. The first half is the exact same, but I removed the midrange stuff to play some straight up psytrance, and I still end with Calling Mercurio. I use a few of my older tracks but I think they fit perfectly. Let me know if anybody decides to listen.

Ital Tek - Cyclical [Planet Mu]
Coda - Pablo [Wonk#Ay]
Gibson - Flooressence [Addictech]
Bird of Prey - Stargazer [Cyberset]
Bird of Prey & Chillax'n - Pipe Dream [Addictech]
Phutureprimitive - Rapid Cognition [Native Harmonix]
Chromatone - Dub Divider [Nano]
Sidhartha vs Khopat - Beyond Messure of Control [Hypergate]
Poison - Radio Active [Timecode]
Multistate - HQ Part 2 [Timecode]
Infernal Droid - Blood & Bubblegum [Karana]
Cybernetika - Calling Mercurio [Ektoplazm]

Yeah, I definitely prefer the alternative version. I know from personal experience it feels somehow wrong to reuse tracks on mixes, but I appreciate you made this second version. It just kicks off at exactly the right time, in a way a pure dubstep mix just can't do, in my opinion.

Thanks guys. For this particular alternative version I didn't really feel like searching for brand new killer tracks, so I just kinda made it up on the fly after playing the Chromatone track. I'm usually very busy at work and very lazy after work, so time is a factor there. I was indeed very wary of releasing this, because it always makes me feel weird to use older tracks, especially ones I play on the radio all the time. I don't want anyone to get the impression that I always play the same stuff, but my mixes are vastly different each time, so that's not an issue I suppose.

Glad you guys enjoyed it. Already got several mixes planned for this year, I can't wait to play them all
