highly doubt this will be rammed. good party or not its sunday and so many people get burned out. i would be willing to bet you can just walk right in at most hours of the night for this.

Dying to see who shows up as the guest DJ/DJs. On the FB event page, they said they don't have time slots yet for the DJ's because they have so many unannounced artists showing up. Hawtin? Loco Dice? Carola?

Beyer will be there for sure. Svn is a given. Hawtin is unlikely, but you never know.

This will hands down be the party of the conference.

And to respond to the person who said its a Sunday and people will be burned out? Let's not forget Sunday School which always drew a sell out crowd in a much much larger space.

Treehouse is a small venue.

sunday school was in a league of its own. not only because of its legendary status but because it actually had big names on the lineup. and oh so many of them. this doesnt. talent will show up, yes, but its still different.

im not saying this wont be full, but i do think it will be possible to get it. it defiantly wont be empty.

didn't miss much last yr. I mean he's progressively gotten worse and worse over the course of years but last yrs. closing he just took a huge steaming dump. His 4 1/2+ hr. set in Boston in Nov. 10' restored a little bit of faith of what he can do. But i've cut the cord with him now. It's sad because he's such an awesome person to party with. that's the end of my rant

His closing party was okay, and there was a chick-brawl right next to where my friends and I were standing. It was awesome! I was chilling outside and they set him up right next to where I was sitting to record/film an interview with him. Cool cat to get some insight from that interview.

fsu-uf game in tallahassee 2004. halftime. at a jam packed gas station buying cigarettes. fsu chick pulls a gator chick by her hair out of the bathroom and goes on to beat her the fuck down. line was huge at the register. once that started i got my cigs real quick.

Beyer 100% won't be there He'll be somewhere else

Posted by trojans14 on Mar-14-2012 01:13:

^I'm guessing Adam will be at Space Terrace with his baby momma.

Does this party really start at 7pm?? Seems really strange for a club event but that's what it says on both wantix and RA. If this is the case, then it is a great sign for a MASSIVE lineup of guest djs.

Just because he's somewhere else, doesn't mean he won't pop in. Cocoon nights worldwide are known for very special guests popping in for an hour set and bouncing.

Posted by maddhatterradio on Mar-16-2012 12:51:

I noticed on the wantickets site that tickets are available at the door for cocoon, and they were limited to sell a certain number of tickets online.

Says 7pm here.

Wow! 7PM! I can not wait any longer for this party!

Need a full review on this one. I was so spent from my weekend of partying I
Sold my tickets the night of.

Full review please! Heard that Tenaglia showed up, that's cool. Any other highlighted special guests?

So i heard sven vath didnt even show up and carl cox showed up but did not play and it was pretty much a bad party. Glad I sold my ticket and went to armin instead

Posted by shaminii on Mar-27-2012 06:08:

Was a little disappointed. I saw Sven hanging out at Last Resort and thought for sure he'd be there for sure.

Posted by Nerologic on Mar-27-2012 07:58:

I was with Sven and Carl Saturday night at Ultra. Sven pulled a Papa Sven and got belligerently drunk and needed my help walking off the stage. From there I think it was his wife or girl friend? Walked him to his own trailer.

Idk what kind of shit you guys are smoking, but the Cocoon Heros party was one of the highlights of my weekend. Cassy and Carl Craig fucking KILLED it.

Everyone was assuming Sven was going to show up, that doesn't mean he had to. And just because he didnt doesn't mean the party sucked. If he would have shown up, he would have been a total fail like Ultra. His performace at Ultra wasnt that impressive, but because it was Sven it's amazing eventhough he kept on trainwrecking all night long.

It's a a great observation. I figured out this weekend that I'm just not able to party 3 nights in a row anymore. Won't be doing that to my body again. After 21 years partying, my body has spoken. Lol

The party was still packed though, so my point was still proven. People love Sunday WMC techno parties.

As far as Svn was convcerned, the biggest let down of WMC for sure. I've waited a decade to see this guy, only to have him suck balls. I mean come on, be a professional and do what people have paid you to do. Use a cheater box if you have to, but just please don't suck and trainwreck all night.

I can assure you, minus a night in Ibiza, I won't be seeing the guy play. He and Cox were the sole reason I bought Ultra tickets in the first place,

Posted by HALO555 on Mar-27-2012 16:13:

cocoon at treehouse was a great party. Sven did not play, but it was neer announced he would. He did come out to support his party, though.
My biggest disappointment was Maetrik not playing. Anybody know what happened there ? PM me if necessary.
