Totally in for this! Woooo!
In +10
Dat was a pretty awesome night. Beyer is a beast behind the decks and Engberg doesn't skip a beat when she takes over for a bit.
Awesome night!
Adam & Ida were relentless for the first 3 hours - hope it was recorded so we can listen to it again. They lost me for the last 45 minutes though - too monotonous?
Great seeing everyone!
Pretty epic techno! I only wished it was in a big room. Adam Beyer destroyed the place with his track selection. His live effects were great! Ida Engberg did drop some really dirty techno as well. She matched up fairly well with the tracks he was playing. Adam Beyer seemed to be supervising Ida far too often though. He does seem like her daddy when they spin together. It's really intriguing to see how he expresses his enthusiasm and passion for the music while djing.
I had a lot of fun with the high energy techno played last night!
I had a good night! amazing music but too crowded. Also the opening by Greg Gow was massive !!! I completely agree with the post above about wishing to see them in a bigger room. Also I think that the sound system in FW is clearly not enough for djs like them.
Anyway, big respect to FW for the quality of their bookings !
got there and the bouncer said we werent on guestlist and needed to pay 40
had to walk to guv for backup plan, very disapointed i missed this!
waited in line for about 2 hours. By the time we got in, they charged us 40 as well. The way i saw it, these 2 won't be returning to Canada for a while and i have been waiting to see them forever. IMHO, totally worth it. We only got 4 hours in, but we were exhausted by the end of it :P
And yea, the room was too small. The set felt like it should have been in a larger place. Kudos to FW however for a solid booking. Keep em coming!

10/10

I had a great time overall. Both Beyer and Ida came out swinging after a wicked set from Greg Gow.
I cant remember the last time I rocked it out like this at FW. It was a sauna in there.
At one point, they lost me a little (sometimes after 3 when the crowd started thinning out). We managed to close the night out. I have to upload some videos.

So during the course of the night I lost my jacket ticket. Not a major drama. I took a cab home as I would have anyway.
I left a message at the club on Sunday and Steph called me back on Tuesday. We briefly tried to come up with a time for me to get it but decided on Friday before the club opened. Sure enough a couple of hours before doors a gentleman let me in and I got my jacket, complete with gloves and ear buds, just as I left it.
It's shit like this that makes Footwork stand apart. Very happy with the night and very impressed how helpful Steph, et al, were with my coat (entirely my fault).
