And he got yelled at by the promoter he was talking shit about, so he came on here and made a "Thank You" thread that his PR agents told him to make.

Then a friend of his that I know came on here defending him trying to stir shit up, and he got shut down too.

I'd find the original EDC thread, but that would take to long. That thread has better posts but I don't have the time to find it.

What is also funny, is that I don't hate the guy. Yet the last 2 times we have ran into each other (Hollywood and Vegas) he saw me and then disappeared.

Not a huge mau5 fan but the guy is a good producer and he "gets it" in regards to giving his fans what they want. That thread seemed to be full of 17 year old "elitist" techno nerds fellating each other about how much "deadmau5 sucks" when all deadmau5 was trying to do was thank his fans for showing up.

Keep this crap off our Florida boards, thank you.

Of course, because my motive with that post was to impress a bunch of people that I don't know and probably will never meet in my life.

The real motive was so that Joel can read this and we can become friends so he can put me on his guestlist at all of his shows in Vegas and then I can hang out at his execitive suite at the Wynn Las Vegas and his sober ass can go on and on about how depressed and miserable he is.

When will deadmau5 learn its best not to respond to these people? It only makes him look bad when he posts an angry response to what people write on the internet. Looks like he doesn't have PR people or he needs to get better ones. Other big name DJs like SHM and Tiesto definitely get a lot of criticism too, but you don't see them responding angrily on their twitter accounts. And since people know they can get Deadmau5 to respond and make himself look like an ass they provoke him even more.

Back on topic. I'm surprised the poolparty and Amnesia isn't selling quicker. I think "gue5ts" is a pretty clear sign that deadmau5 is going to be there.

Bummer for the promoters and clubs that they can't actually say "Deadmau5"; hurts tickets sales (although I bet it will sell out anyway) and they can't prep in advance for capacity, security, staff, etc

they did the same thing for Sat night too.... don't really understand their marketing plan for those events.

i went to his set at Fontainbleau.

I saw him back when he did his tour in NY and i loved his set. but maybe i was tired or something but i thought his set pretty much sucked. i don't like the direction of his music, i feel like its mellowed out and may have something to do with his depression or something. it was hard to dance to. not to mention, he barely spun 1 hour at his own party. i wish i didnt buy the tickets when i was drunk the day before haha
