thanks for showing off

if i lost my 2 gigs, then i'd go crazy, even tho its only 2...I spent a lot time downloading stuff, deleting the shit and keeping the good stuff...plus, I also have 7 cd's backing up all my mp3's.

Unhappy

I don't get it... I mean I had my HDD crashed 2 times... Every week there is a thread about someone losing his data because of this... !!!BACKUP YOUR MUSIC AT CDS!!! Your hdd may be burned, fried, eaten with cabbage, I dunno, but you'll never lose your music... Of course if your cds are safe.

And BTG, I feel your pain. Try some soft like Easy Recovery if it's possible.

BTG, you need a priest to bless (or exorcise) your computer before it blows away!

and now, my hard drive just makes a tapping sound

*tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, ta ta ta tap..tap tap*

hehe, you could do something like those guys from "Stomp", you know?

tap, tap, tuntskun tap, tap-ta-da-tap tuntstum-tada-dap!

(then you sing like a-aplz said)

tap, tap, tuntskun tap, tap-ta-da-tap "Thank you New York!" tuntstum-tada-dap! "I'm your DJ!" tak-tadakutum...

Talking about songs with weird syllables: get "Daler Mehndi - Tunak Tunak" <- the worst song ever

BTG!!!

DON'T CHUCK OUT THE DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...it may still be recoverable

...did the same thing to a 46g IBM 75GXP (death)star...didn't realise the psu on the computer i was plugging it into was AT, not ATX unit

anyway, luckily my brother had the same hd & we pulled the pcb off that one and put it on the fried drive...worked perfect, infact i haven't given back the pcb

...so yeah, if u can find someone else with the same hd who's willing to let u pull it apart temporarily, u may be able to recover the data

note: pulling the pcb off will void warranty on both drives ...just incase u didn't figure
