ugh no joke man. im a tall dude and have the same problem, if the decks aren't high enough i have to bend over. i try to spread my legs farther to make my height less but then my hips and thighs get screwed up. it's no good when the decks are at waist level

thank you for backing me up on that one!!! I'm pretty tall too and that problem kills me!!!!!!!!!!!!
which brings me to this question...... what is the best height for the decks to be?

I always think belly button height is the best height to have your platter at. So the table should be 3 inches/ 7cm below the height of your naval

Hahahahahaa

I feel sorry for all you people who have bad backs. I am about 6ft but my decks are on top of a TV cabinet and are just below my ribs. Nice height. Cept you cant have anythng above the mixer cause you cant see it or reach it properly

no back problems here

np man just telling it like it is.

hmm.. i like them about stomach level or so.. with the mixer proped up a few inches in the back so it's looking at my face. works out well.

for me, the height in other terms is 5 standard cinder blocks high (stacked on thier side), which i think is 40 inches (8 inches a block, if i recall)... then another few inches from the case/piece of plywood on the top of the blocks... so 3.5ft or so.

i like my tuntables at just above my waist...

i'm 5'10" and it's perfect for me

but back on topic...

the only things i've had are torn up fingers from the sleeves, and muscle pain from carrying huge heavy speaker cabnets
