On my way!
Such a sick party
Any reviews?? I hear Beyer was boring (like I expected).

anywho, moving on to reivews! Wake up people, I wanna hear about it!!
My ride from Jersey is about 1hr. I sometimes prefer just driving straight to the place than dealing with the trains. I learned to stop complaining since it is either BK for good techno, or do what everyone else does in the suburbs APPLEBEES.
Where are the pictures of IDA??
Last time i was there it was a while ago. Great party. Loved the vibe. I don't know who the opening dj was but he played a good set. Ida set was basically a continuation of the opening dj
. when Adam came to the decks the vibe changed fast. He did a good job of keeping people interesting for a long time. loved his begging and his end the most. My car was parked on fulton street and i had to leave at 7am due to parking alternations. The crowd was still strong as i was leaving. Also an other thing was that it was 3guys-1girl ratio. which was a pluss. You were not surrounded by dudes at all. drinks were strong.
some cons would be:
*the lack of speakers in the back. too loud at the front most of the night. Not to mention sound line up did not do any justice. distortion everywhere.
*Shitty security altitude. Mandatory coat check or pay $5 to keep it if you didn't want to check it. and that meant any article of cloth. i had my usual zipup shirt. Dude gave me attitude about it. i told him off, walked to my car left it there and walked right back in. focker
*crowdeness. no matter where you were you would randomly be pushed to make way, or elboyed by shirtless lic' douches with their shuffling peacock dance moves as they're trying to impress the ladies/brofriend.
all in all a great experience. Would definitely go more
7 am vid i took just before leaving

Is that just blkmrkt thing to not put speakers in the back? Kills the vibe for me, the CLR party would've been a lot better with those , ESP the prices people are paying you would think they would invest in some, shame.
I thought Ida did a pretty good job, party def kicked up a notch when she went on. When beyer went on it got kicked up another notch. He was pretty good. It was up and down, but you can't have 3 hours of straight fire. The ups were real good, I remember like a 30min stretch where the place was just going wild.
Had no problems with security...me and my gf both wore light jackets and didn't check them. Didn't even see security after the initial pat down. Sound was pretty good. It was only too low in the way back....and I actually don't mind that for times when I wanna be able to speak with someone. Ida and beyer def went into the red a couple times, few moments of distortion.
Crowd was great. Good mix. Didn't get bumped around or anything. It was good to see less chin scratching and more dancing.
Venue is def in the hood tho. I don't mind it though for several reasons I won't get into, lol
So my review, ida tore shit down. I think she came on like between 2-215ish and went straight for the bombs. I need a track id around 2.50 just relentless. It was al that i expected I wish they recorded that set pure madness. Beyer played how I thought he would, big drop off in energy but still classy. The db array stacks played well for that venue. I was ok with no back speakers. The crowd was ok, security was fine quick pat down at door but once inside everything was cool as usual.
I had a lot of fun that night. Got there around 1ish when Taimur/Faghad was still on. You could tell that they were holding back, despite the energy in the room wanting more. Obviously this was a proper way to open up, couldn't be throwing fire right away
.
When Ida came on, it was game over. She unleashed that energy of the room and played very intense set with few breakdowns in between. I was going nuts.
Beyer was doing also good, but for some reason I found myself being bored few times. I guess the way he mixed from high energetic to slower tracks was too abrupt and it wasn't stretched out flow wise. Its like getting it on and stopping and leaving you blue-balled. Aldi actually described it very well in his review.
Alexi Delano played nice and "coming down" set, he kinda came on later than anticipated (around 8am?) I still had fun and couldnt stop dancing.
My calves are still shot from friday night.
Venue was awesome (i thought ive been there before but i was mistaken). At some point it was crowded and very hot though, but that was anticipated. I also did enjoy having a little bit of talking room in the back so you could hear people. I went up front to listen to music and dance.
Crowd was fucking great. Everybody was all dance and smiles. No rude bullshit at all. What surprised me is the amount of girls at this show. Usually you see more of a sausage fest, but this was far from it. Plenty of eye candy
Drinks were strong, bar tenders very friendly. Security was great too. Initial pat down and then no problems at all.
Epic night for me. I haven't had that much fun in a while actually. Proper underground warehouse party. Looking forward to more.
