| Originally posted by Seandroid I think the kick could cut through the mix a little better, maybe a bit more high end. I do like the track a lot, but I think the track needs a hook melody. There's plenty of great melodies but they're sort of creating a slurry right now. You need a focal point, or at least a climax that has one solid lead that takes presence in the mix that has a melody that's extremely memorable, and then I think you could get this one climbing up the charts. I do rather wish it had a snare/clap, though :P |
Sounding good so far big D!
It might be worth trying the track about 4bpm slower, it's feeling a little rushed to me at the moment.
I'd also try and control the filter sweeps on the main stabs a little more, and perhaps open them up more slowly over a longer period of time to establish some progression.
All the musical elements are cool, but you've always been good at that
I wonder if you'll finish this one

For this reason, I shall refrain from expressing any thoughts about the technical/production quality as this would basically involve me throwing rocks where I'm actually better placed to be watering tomatoes (sorry if taht seems esoteric - maybe I'm having a 'Cantona Moment'). Anyway, to me, this is could still go those one of two ways I mentioned in my earlier comment... although, there's a lovely ambient foundation to this and I wonder whether introducing an epic dimension to this would be a kind of betrayal to the work you've done so far. Nice work and I thinks it's fine without the snare/claps with what it is at the moment!! Cheers Alan |

| Originally posted by Targus28 Nice textures and layers, but i feel the track doesn't really go anywhere, i respect that it is a WIP thou.If you skip through the track in 8 parts everything's just repeating for the whole duration it feels. What is the purpose of the track? Is it something for just listening pleasure? Or a dance track? Or dont you know which direction you wish to take this in yet? |

) is completely cured and I shell impress you and finish this one for you G. (few more comment like this and my motivation will exceeds my production capability and that will be a huge problem

OK, guys I just get 60% done at this stage - some definite direction is establish for this track and rounded a bit more with melodic and structural adjustment.
At one point (around 1:54-2:08) when this morphing bass line kicks in (for 16 bars), I need some more work done, some more modulations with some smooth transition to this break which follow it - I hope that this Electro element will spice up my dance track enough
Catch me if you can now
- feel free to share any comments lol before is too late

I realy like those delayed FX sounds around 0:20.
The arpeggio that comes at 0:44 - I didn't like the sounds, didn't fit the mood for me.
The melody after 1:12 is great! If you finish the track I want the MIDIs so I can remix it
Did not expect wobbling bass that comes at 1:55. It sounds very interesting.
3:50 is just awesome.
I really liked this track, the way it evolves is very creative. Big kudos to you!

Pretty sweet. Enjoyed this track, very clean and rich. Loved the first synth. Not a fan of the bass that comes in at 2:00, sounded awkward and out of place.
The finesse and detail in the percs and gated vocal samples is also quite nice! Looking forward to a finished track.
Not a fan of the wobble synth, but I love the searing synth lead around the two and a half minutes mark.
Keep up the good work.

Another beautiful project in the making. Loved all the crisp percussive elements wipping around me, awesome melodies and wonderful rhythm as well. To answer your question, about the energy around 20-23, My answer is yes. I cant tell if you had done this or not, it almost sounded it like it, but on that little percussive stab, that plays right at 20, and the one seconds before that, have an apparent reverb with a lingering decay; Just and idea, but maybe you could increase the decay time of the reverb and have a sidechain signal compress the reverb. I'm really bad at explaining things, but i love to here that in tracks. creates good energy.
Looking forward to hearing this finished!
This is great stuff Darek, bit of a synthy feel, which is nice, it's evolving and engaging, peeling of layer by layer, holds the interest, well done
Like that opening synth Darek. Nice sounds but you know from this melodic type track I'm yearning for some additional chordal changes that really give you that payload 'ahhh' moment, but maybe I'm wrong as others don't mention this? Lovely synth work.
