there you go. You have an issue with the genre it seems. I can't stand djs that play obscure tracks that have no baseline or melody and sound like a kick drum and bongo loop for 3 hours or what you call progressive house. AS to their talent, that isn't really in question. You need to learn to separate your taste from the actual talent.

yea because i dont like all types of house, techno, drum and bass, trance without long ass breakdowns, old school electro house, various forms of dubstep, 2-step, chill-out. im so god damn limited. here we go again... not. later retard.

so you seem to understand your bias, can't you just correct yourself ? You already know the problem and you understand it isn't logical, why do you insist that your taste is somehow better ?

im entitled to my own opinions. you dont have to agree, music is a subjective thing, and i know a lot of people enjoy the music i think is bad. maybe you just really want me to respond to you or something, is snookie not doing it for you anymore? get off me.

i just don't see why you have such a hard time understanding that taste and talent are 2 separate things. Yo yo ma is rather talented and doesn't do progressive house. The Beatles were rather talented and didn't make progressive house. Most would not question their taste either. Stop calling everything that isn't progressive house crap. Stop deluding yourself that you have some fucking monopoly on taste. I mean for someone that is a champion of all that is progressive , your outlook on music is rather recessive. Taste is personal, but nobody would disagree the more you expose yourself to , the more your tastes are refined. By boxing yourself in such a small niche, it is really your tastes that are questionable.

no i'm honestly curious why you are so stubborn when faced with such trivialities. Why can you not seem to understand your taste is just one of many. i like Wagner , Mahler and Brahms. You can't make a comment about my taste and not sound obtuse. You know so little about music, have heard so little of what is out there, that your opinion is rather immature, prone to trends and overall negligible. You can't seem to see outside your fucking mini box. This is what 15 year olds do. Why you are doing it at your age is hard to explain. The mental gymnastics you must do to fool yourself into thinking that your little genre is the natural extension of romanticism. Every single producer and track you like will die in obscurity and nobody will remember any of it. There is a reason. Can I ask you an honest question? Do you have any connection with Dance music currently? Do you like any of it as a listener or make it anymore as a producer? I ask this out of curiosity and nothing else.

I had picked up that you do stuff with orchestral music and I like orchestral music, particularly Brahms, (hence my awkward bassoon interjection yesterday was my attempt at striking up conversation) but don't really know what your connection to Dance music is. Just curious.

Mahler wrote some wicked trance, dude, and Brahms' electroglitch was the shiz.

i have been on this site since 2001. I like dance music. I do alot of things. This site hasn't banned me yet.And to answer your question , i listen to about 20 new EDM tracks a day. Just because i do one thing does not preclude me from other things. Regardless of what you might think i do, i still know more about dance production than all of you twats. Is that enough ?
