I think it is pretty complex if I'm honest.

Try listening to that Michael Woods track with heads, and AB to a track of your own, and personally I find his bass and kick is immaculately EQ'd. For a couple of days I've been trying much more forensic EQing on a bass, making many small slivers of cut and at the same time in that same freq range a wide lift and it seems to be giving me something I have never achieved before. We'll, see, I might be imagining things again lol!

Your bass on the remix of Berlin was great, but then that was a less frenetic more minimal track so the bass is a little easier to manage, whereas in the Michael Woods tracks the sub is pounding and omnipresent but it still sounds very clean and pure. Thats what I'm opn about.
