WTF is wrong with N. America recently?

Sheriff: Maryland student, 21, admits eating housemate's heart, part of brain

Hours after his family members alerted police to a human head and two hands they discovered stashed in metal tins, a Maryland man admitted killing his housemate, cutting him up, then eating his heart and part of his brain, authorities said.

Seen one too many zombie movies?

All these cannibalistic news headlines are giving a bad name to zombies and zombie movies. George A. Romero must be furious right now because of the genre he helped shape. Geez.

That's what's great about this country... the diversity... in what other country could you have a bisexual russian pornstar killing, dismebering, sodomizing, and eating a Chinese adult student? Oh Canada, we stand on guard for thee!

"epic fial" on your part bro

"The post, by a forum member named reddragon1, said Magnotta is of Russian/Italian heritage, was born in Tolyatti, Russia, moved to Canada at age five and went to the United States to work in modeling and adult entertainment."

"A May 27, 2011 post on Stormfront.org refers to Mr. Magnotta as an open white supremacist and claims he was being forced to flee Canada and return to Russia because of his views on white supremacy.

Cool story, tell it to your mom.

And this is typical Russian name?
Melissa Newman said: Eric is my brother, but the entire family has agreed as one unit not to comment at this time,

Or maybe he moved by himself, when he was 5 y.o.
Yep, I see baby immigrants all the time in P.I.A.

Get real.

Luka #Magnotta arrested in Berlin: German police . Accused killer arrested in internet cafe in German capital

Posted by Dior Homme on Jun-04-2012 14:53:

It was only a matter of time. He was obviously checking to see how popular he was. He didn't even last a week.

Honestly in this world today, based on the fundamentals of six degrees of separation, social media, population growth etc etc, there are very few places to hide now or its just very difficult to stay invisible. Unless of course you have an operation.

After mailing body parts to the liberals and conservatives, he's arrested while at an internet cafe in Berlin on Karl-Marx-Strae. Fitting.

Pretty sure he wanted to get caught.

Also, when you are on the run go to a country that doesn't have an extradition treaty with Canada!

Posted by FunkyCrew on Jun-05-2012 02:05:

interesting!

I think he knew exactly where to go, Germany:

quote:
But Gary Botting, a Vancouver criminal defence and extradition lawyer, said the case which falls under the Treaty Between Canada and the Federal Republic of Germany Concerning Extradition, which was signed on Sept. 30, 1979 could draw out for about a year if Mr. Magnotta pursues the two available levels of appeals should the German government decide to extradite him.

Mr. Botting said the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade first had to make a formal, diplomatic extradition request to its German counterparts. Mr. Magnotta, he said, will likely be denied bail in the meantime because of the magnitude of the allegations against him and the international publicity surrounding the gruesome case.

He said that starting today, a Crown prosecutor in Montreal where Mr. Magnotta is accused of having killed and dismembered 33-year-old Lin Jun in his apartment will have 45 days to build what is called a record of the case. That record will contain a detailed summary of all evidence against Mr. Magnotta, and it will then be fully turned over to the Department of Justices International Assistance Group, Mr. Botting said.

Next, he said the department will submit the record to authorities in Germany, where Mr. Magnotta will face a two-, three-, or four-day extradition hearing. That hearing is likely to take place roughly six months from now, he said, due simply to normal court-scheduling demands.

Mr. Botting said a German judge will also hear from the defence likely a capable and high-profile legal aid lawyer appointed to represent Mr. Magnotta and will then take two weeks or so to decide whether the evidence against Mr. Magnotta is substantial enough to warrant extradition. The German government has the ultimate authority to decide whether to accept the judges recommendation, and Mr. Magnotta has the right to both appeal the judges decision and then later, should he so choose, the governments decision.
