Lol for saying it's not trance, I do agree on that second part though.

The two I like best to hear so now and then would be:

Ost & Meyer - Tenerife

Right face - Zero gravity (falcon remix)

Accessible yet absolutely amazing track.

If you wan't good trance music you are going to need to look at other labels besides Black Hole, Armada, Anjunabeats. They and and many copycat labels are responsible for seriously damaging the trance scene with their commercial trouse, vocal cheese, copy paste, etc.

Even better, just listen and don't look at labels, that's how we did it in pre internet times in record shops, at least I did.

Yes, but with so much shit trance music being released it helps to be able to filter out most of the bad stuff instead of listening to it all.

The difference between now and your vinyl days is the volume of music being released. There is a way lower signal to noise ratio nowdays, you have to filter out alot more to get to all the good stuff.

I preferred cd's back then though. Vinyl sucks IMO.
But I started with vinyl, and just have a few left.

Lightbulb Not my cup of tea...

Not crazy for any of this stuff either, I'd like to see some decent melodies and unique sounds. Maybe some arpeggios.

It's been interesting to see the direction that some labels have been taking these days.

We've been trying to stick to our roots and keep the classic melodic flow style of trance alive. It has not always been rewarded, as it seems that A-list support goes down every year. Well, at least we enjoy what we release!

As for the rest of them they are the same ideas that I have heard rehashed unoriginaly thousands of times. I might add that they are executed quite poorly as well.

How is that not classic?

Good choice on the Blueman track as well.
