realistically, complexity is irrelevant in this genre if you want to put on a good show. I might go see the CSO do a performance of Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring" if I'm looking for technical prowess, but if I'm going to see a DJ, I'm just expecting him/her to play good music. the amount of intricacy in the show doesn't really have any bearing on how much fun I'm having. If they're doing something cool sure I might think "Damn, that was pretty cool", but it's not much more than the feeling of a good atmosphere where the DJ knows just what to play to keep the energy going.

Looking at it now, it still has surprisingly few tunes that I outright dislike. On the other hand, I doubt that I'd have the patience to sit through 2-3 minute breakdowns every 10 minutes for 50(!) tracks now.

god i hate this track...it's one of the worst in recent years. it doesn't even try to hide that it is bad.

well 2012 was the last time I dled a set
but the last set I remembered liking was 2008
but that would be unfair to tiesto cuz I never downloaded a set between 2009-2012 (early 2012)
