Amen to that!

All the sets i have of him are quality. As i understand, all the part II's (armin live in the mix) on his ASOT radio show are from previously recorded live sets. However i always find his Part I's way better.

That was my understanding too. But I disagreed with the Part I vs Part II bit. From my experience, part I is just singles (or semi-mixed), whereas part II is continuous.

But here a difficult one, Armin vs Corsten?
My vote's for Ferry but it's definitely difficult one to call.

I agree. tough call but Ferry out shines

Yeah but part I has 'all the newest tunes selected' to quote the ID & T guy. And armin talks in Part I, you can't beat that!! Oh, and TUNE OF THE WEEK!! C'mon!!

Yah, valid point. Mind you I'm not quite certain about the talking argument:

hjkhewqkj qwhekjqwhekjq qwhejkqwhekjhqw hjwqehkqjw Ferry Corsten andsldhasjkhdkashdkjsa dsadashkhjka as23s asda Tune of the week ahksahkjdhasjkdhjakdjk ajsdk ahsdkasjkd England ahjksdhaskjdkjahdjk etc etc etc

hahaha
i love trying to decipher wtf they're talking about .. the track names always stick out because they're in English

alsjf asdif awoefalsdf oivhdfgneu aosdfhf Driftwood Freeloader Spinning Recordings tune of the week xcisdnfd adfhe akn anfas

and in the ASOT XL (double episode with Ferry Corsten) I can definitely understand one bit..
ID&T guy: what do you think about MP3s?
Ferry: Fuck mp3.

At what time in the rip is that? LOL.

I was under the impression that the guy talking on the show IS Armin?? Can anyone prove me right/wrong?? Hehe, it was funny in episode 51 where amrin just spun Mesh - Persuasion and he prenounced it like Per-Su-Asian... sounded funny! And how funny is it when he say Johan Gielen...!!

Dowlz .. it's at about the 150 minute mark

it's good to listen to the ~5 minutes just before it as well, they speak english for a few minutes, ferry talks about coming to Australia
