yeah EDC is gonna sell out with the same tactic of releasing small ticket amounts for 3-4 months....
its kinda hard to sell out the whole meadowlands parking lot tho! im sure there will be tix at the door given how big this event is

Ok, I get it about the money... Expensive, but I don't think oddly out of line.
My grip is the booking quality. Last year (this year) was very lackluster and IMO not worth the money.
I may bite on this but if the booking is as kiddie like as this year... It may be my last EZOO. I still appreciate the little things MADE does in there festival.
The overall organizational part, food, bathrooms, water, dust situation has greatly improved.
Music quality went to shit overall

I know the price is very high for early bird, but for myself being a New Yorker, i still find it the cheapest festival at least 1/2 of others because of not having to pay flight and hotel. So this always makes me end up going anyway
this ain't a festival, get it right, it's a money funding frenzy
you swelling they pockets
did anyone else not LOL @ Provocateur VIP section on RANDALL'S ISLAND lmao
I priced out two tickets and it came out to $315 a piece. Absolutely insane. $100 more than the early bird tickets last year.
Go fuck yourself Made.

^^ True dat.
Only early birds i'm looking forward to are DEMF
Though I may consider Miami for a long weekend. Treehouse had good techno all week there and Dubfire killed it too at one of the douchier clubs

Bought a ticket just in case the lineup is strong this year. You can always sell em anyway. Too bad it's not 18+ though....heard there were way too many kiddies this year.

| Originally posted by AY STAR this. a friend of mine just moved down there so i will just go down there to visit him and then hit up parties and enjoy miami in the summer for a few days and even book a trip up to toronto or montreal they have a great scene up there. i went to digital dreams festival over the summer 2 day pass was like 100 bucks as for this festival, it's sad to see what it has become, for those who have been going since year 1 know how much fun it was and how quality the music was. now even tho the festival has grown with alot of positive things, it still seems like they are tryin to stick it to the working man cause they can with these prices. theres no way iam spending 3 days at that festival again this year. even tho i had a blast on sat last year (minus the immature neon crowd) price wise it still dont add up for me for 3 days. i will wait until line-up's get announced and chose which day is my style. i will go and make the best of it. |

| Originally posted by a.l.d.i. yeah sure if you wanna look it that way. Maybe to you it is still a relatively new experience going to concerts, therefore you don't mind coughing up that cash. But not me, no sirie! |
i had a feeling you would not be new to the festivals that's why i said maybe. I guess i had to see other reason then just what you bluntly stated already. great to see that you love it. And you are right, altogether it does make sense that is cheaper for you as a NY resident compared to other travelers. so cheers and have fun. Didn't mean to attack you, just frustrated that prices are skyrocketing, talent booking is fadin and all ages events are becoming a thing. That's all
every year i rage at how much they go up, but even still: 3 day long concert, still about ~100/day. considering all the possible acts they can bring it's not an outrageous price.
not to mention the payment plans do make it a bit more tolerable to bite
yeah.. except the talent doesn't add up to the $100 fee. Or probably $400 by the time the gate opens.
You all are missing that crucial part. that is the reason why most of us are raising our pitchforks! Also comfort. i don't want to drop $400+ and have rude teenager elbow me left and right. But defenitelly the music. i guess i can't enjoy this sound that is dominant out there.. i mean i know there is alot of good "trouse" and "trance" that is good to me but i feel like everyone drops the most anying songs.
eg: this would be a song i wouldn't mind listening
but instead this version would be dropped
