I think Hardwell is actually a pretty good DJ. He has a ton of unique mashups and bootlegs. Same with Romero. Yeah some of them are "somebody that I used to know" and crap like that, but I think they have good DJ skills. That being said, I don't think they belong toward the top... MAYBE hardwell. Axwell should be up there, his DJing is ridiculous. And yeah I'm a little bummed that Markus isn't up there but on the other hand to be honest he didn't really push the envelope much this year for EDM as a whole. He's very consistent, he's great, he does open-to-close sets, but he's not out there pushing the boundaries of EDM (in my opinion).

Bassnectar shits on all of them.

it seems like you must have a radio show Electric Area in order to break into the top 20.

Posted by Kilixpree on Oct-19-2012 14:42:

WHAT? markus out of the top10 LOL

just check the GDJB from yesterday... INSANE set, at least 20 godly dark deep prog trances, in the best ''unicorn slayer'' style

well, sad day. Above n beyond are playing more pop than trance, and still ahead of markus schulz LOL, no words

this pool is a joke. At least airwave is in the top100?

Hopefully this means all of the old school DJ rates, egos, and demands are going down. That way we can see the big guys at more intimate venues, maybe even warehouse parties.

do you guys know if they started the countdown or not yet?

Paris Hilton in the top 100. I'm damn sure of it. Just shows you how stupid this poll is.

Well, when you let stupid people vote....

Meritocracy ftw!
