Digweed live is COMPLETELY different than Digweed on his radio station.
That guy can deliver a fucking beatdown, even in 2012.

Shit trance slide down the list, replace by shit house..
Time for a Brazzers parody, something like "This Ain't The DJ Mag Top 100 Ceremony"

Whatever one may think about Guetta winning it last year, at least it was different. It sparked new conversations and suggested a change in the direction of pop EDM. Seeing Armin win it tho', who cares? It's old news, a retread. What has Armin done this past year that will generate similar talk that Guetta provided? Okay, so he's adopted the 'trouse' sound (according to his old school fans, at least), but all that means is he fits right snuggly with Tiesto, Guetta, Above & Beyond, and everyone else in the Top 10 (sans Skr-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-rillex). Same inter-changable DJs, same ol' story. Seeing Avicci at #3's more interesting than Armin or Tiesto.
I'm sure Armin's fans feel justified with this result, but everyone else will shrug with apathy, much like every other time he's won it.

As long as Tiesto ain't first everything's fine!
Wonder if he was present at the ceremony in Amsterdam. I'd like to see his face, how does it feel being second!

They need to stop this joke sooner rather than later.

Am I the only person on this board who is intelligent enough to know this is a popularity contest?
The top DJs are the top DJs in terms of popularity. This year's list makes complete sense in that regard.
Starting to question the intelligence of people here...

it amazes me that people still think this is a popularity poll.
any fool can buy facebook accounts and hire coders on freelancer to do the voting for them which is why no name djs can be so high while truly popular djs drop out.
digweed, sasha, zabiela, sanchez etc dont need to buy votes to prove themselves- they prove themselves by filling clubs.
I cringe when I see djs campaigning for dj polls these days, they look desperate.
fortunately more and more djs are coming out and saying they wont campaign in polls anymore.

Expecting any of your Favourite DJs to be anywhere "respectable" on the list is like expecting any of these DJs to win Grammys. Outside the EDM catefory obviously (which still gets won by Madonna, Lada Googoo??)
Also, it seems now that Armin has won again, he is the "Lesser of Two+ Evils" to be #1.
Techno Dj's are neglected? How about DRUM & FUCKING BASS ? I voted Andy C and London Electricity, the only D&B dj up there is Netsky but his D&B is not the most root influenced... If this was a real DJ contest without a doubt the best of the best in the Electronic Music scene is Andy C (the guy still spins vinyl big ups for that) and Kutski. I must say, every one thinks dubstep is taking over but looks like they are far from that... MY GOD THATS A LOT OF HARDSTYLE/HARDCORE!!!

well hardcore is more listeneable than hardstyle, hardcore is the new eurodance a lot of people love it, in fact when a dj drops a few hardcore tunes the energy of the floor rises incredibly, for long people start leaving but all crowds stand it for some minutes.
As for hardstyle... the distorted kick is something that does not get on well with all people, i quite like wasted penguinz i even considered attending Klimax to try something different.
