I heard it directly from a primary source back in August and I have patiently been waiting for more details. I always assumed it was true but started doubting it until I recently noticed it on Beyer's FB page. I don't check FB often so it could have been listed on there a long time ago, though.

I do hope the party is still happening.

same party or a different one ? Somebody close to Sasha please tell him to bring the energy that night. It is NYE and people want a party, not a snooze fest. We all know he's capabale of it. No excuses from him such as jet lag or his child's sick, etc.

lol. He didn't tell me to keep it quiet but i was in deference to whoever was behind it - didn't want to spill any beans. Luciano was the other dj he said was spinning... both of them are not publicly booked anywhere yet for NYE so one can hope that's what actually happens.

interesting. i wonder if Jordan is still involved with Vanguard as an owner or did he just sell it off.

don't know but word was Jordan/his group didn't have the $ to do any sort of renovations hence the sale. i actually first heard this a month or so ago and then again at Avalon the other night but forgot to post it...

yeah... Jordan was NOT the brightest club owner i've come across. he put in just over $2million (from what i heard) into the upstairs area and it lasted just a couple of months. They even had trouble paying for the booze to stock venue at times.

so does that mean this coming year we have insomniac providing lineups to both vanguard and exchange every friday and saturday?

purely speculation on my part but i think as SBE bought the venue it will not be every friday/saturday you'll see big name djs booked by Insomniac at Vanguard...

i agree. i think they'll host special events with PvD or something like that at Vanguard considering Paladim's status is up in the air right now.

whoever bought the Palladium will have to pony up some serious $$$ to buy out the lease there. But that would then leave Insomniac w/o a Hollywood venue to have 4,000 person parties. My feeling is it will be two years minimium before anything happens at the Palladium as it will take a few years just to get any plans permitted for a big development like that... so no need to get the tenant out until they are ready for construction.
