Ha! I didn't know Dash Berlin was a group made up of old Vengaboys & Alice Deejay members. lol I had to google it. I always thought it was one guy.
DJ Dash Berlin - Jeffrey Sutorius
We are all assuming he was the one who posted it - but that is because he is the image for Dash Berlin.

Jeff, the DJ of Dash Berlin, wasn't actually in Alice Deejay, just the two guys who are with him now. He used to go by Jeff Bounce, I honestly don't know of any of his music, but I found this on YouTube. I also heard in his earlier days he was a hardstyle and gabber DJ, so he changed big time I guess haha.
I guess the drama is over though, and he's playing for ASOT600 now.
Not sure how believable that sounded but imo sounded like Armin was laughing during the interview. Obviously they had to end it this way but now we know Dash gets paid more than anyone else on the ASOT lineup (except from Armin).
So, what's the explanation, then? I still think that everyone else on the internet was blowing it out of proportion, seeking drama.
PR Stunt?
I dunno how reputable this website is, but they're claiming it is.
http://hammarica.com/dash-berlin-ar...-with-pr-stunt/
that i wouldnt doubt.
i also think it was a PR stunt.
Maybe that's what they want you to think now. They're probably thinking "whewww, that nearly got out of hand".
Maybe it was a PR stunt, but nothing in that article shows fact other than that they got a deal done in the end. And it doesn't even say that. It just says the problem was "solved," yet they won't say if Dash is playing or not still...
I don't see how something that has tarnished Dash's image a little equates to just some publicity stunt. The negative out this outweighs negative and it should've been obvious it would have before Armin made his reply. It makes no sense. Especially for two high-profile DJS like them. This is not like DJ Sneak vs SHM or D5 where DJ Sneak needs the publicity. Armin and Dash don't need it.
Funny how when something odd like this happens, everyone jumps to the PR stunt conclusion when there's really nothing to base it off of. This is for any industry!
My feeling is somewhat along the lines of what Billy indicates. I think they are trying to backtrack after the negative reaction it caused and hoping to sweep it under the rug in the long run. They toook their spat offline, and deleted the tweets. Resolved. Solved.
And if Dash ends up ASOT600 in the end, it means nothing IMO. If it was a PR stunt and Dash was signed to pay at ASOT6600, why not just say they worked out a deal and are glad Dash will be a part of ASOT600?
PR stunt isn't logical. The backlash from this was 1000x worse then the positivity it generated. Even though Dash backed off of his previous position of not enough money, it still opened the door slightly to get a taste of what is really going on in the background and it definitely opened some eyes. All of those memes and Hitler videos are here to stay, and that's all bad publicity.
i've always said it... i think these dj's get paid wayyyy too much.
