Listened to this following your request on my thread

It's a million miles away from 'my thing' really, but I got all the way through it without getting annoyed which I don't think many full on sets could achieve. I think pretty much every track had something I liked about it - like a part of a riff or a climax; and something that I really didn't like - such as those quirky interruptions in the beat which plagues full on, and prevents me from being 'entranced' by it.

In terms of the set from a technical perspective, with the exception of the opening transition which was a bit jarring I thought the mixing was very smooth and maintained the energy. I also think you have the hang of varying the sounds so the set doesn't get samey

Overall, I think I would have loved this set at a psy trance rave if I was severely under the influence, but I'm not likely to listen to it again on my headphones. I did enjoy it enough to download your next mix though, which I hope is another progressive one like 'Mystic Energy'

Yeah, I figured this wouldn't exactly be "your thing", but I thought it would be interesting for you to try out a mix that's a bit on the wild side of psytrance. As much as this is seen as plain old full-on, it's a lot more energetic than 99% of the typical tracks out there. Artists like Biogenesis and Dapanji are some of the few that are making seriously slamming music.

As far as the quirky interruptions in the beat, I guess that's a product of the style. This "hi-tech" style of full-on has a major emphasis on glitching and complex beat arrangements, so that may be what is preventing you from getting sucked in like you would in a psytrance mix featuring tracks from Mad Maxx and The Digital Blonde, etc. Anyways, I hope it was something different and interesting for you. Thanks for the listen!
