that whole Blackstarr album was amazing

but yeah
i listen to rap/hip hop and rnb
there's also breakbeat, prog, n all that
but i take it that the title implies what do u listen to other than electronica

I listen to punk sometimes. But generally I find trance more than enough for me to enjoy for long periods of time. Such great music, I wish everyone liked it

Posted by fieroavian on Sep-17-2002 04:12:

trip-hop (e.g. Massive Attack)
nubreaks (e.g. Adam Freeland, Layo & Bushwacka!)
ambient-techno (e.g. The Orb)
electroclash (e.g. Felix da Housecat, Fischerspooner, Ladytron)
synthpop (e.g. Erasure)
british rock (e.g. Stereophonics, Placebo)

some acid jazz (e.g. St. Germain), jungle (esp. jump-up) and american rock (Metallica in mid-80s, Weezer, Nirvana, R.E.M., yea that's about it). Cirque du Soleil and Aimee Mann's music are great too. but above all, keep in mind that i eat, sleep, and breathe trance.

Posted by Trancer-adu on Sep-17-2002 04:34:

some classical music... and guitar stuff too (no sitar though )

Posted by Cobalt on Sep-17-2002 04:37:

Progressive, Trip Hop, Jazz, Classical, Eastern Ethnic, Ethnic/New Age. I seem to have arrived at trance from a different tangent than the typical convert.

Posted by Tukan on Sep-17-2002 04:45:

Everything, basically... how much I like it is a different matter, but it's not usually based on genre.
I particularly like other types of dance music, and r&b...
