You are quite possibly correct, Ill let you know what feedback I get on the paper. Right now I have to make a MAX/MSP patch for another assignment. Got any good advice on that ? Now that shit is tuff !

Learn object programming and basic dsp processing. Max msp is rather simple as it is intended for musicians and composers. Read a book?

Promoters tend to just put psytrance/progressive on psy things wheras techno events just tend to name djs and mention "funky beats". If you actually goto random people at the "funky beats" parties though they can tell you whether what's playing is techno, house, dubstep or electro though. So much depends on the scene involved.

I totally agree, my fear is that the genre specific audience is becoming more scarce. In the end it will eat its self alive.

nope. I just happen to know alot about music and technology and submersibles from WW2. You asked a question. I answered it. Not sure where the humour comes in. Its rather annoying to be honest.

Your extensive knowledge of music tech? You should do something with that knowledge if you don't already, otherwise its a waste.

Anyway, thanks again to everyone who did contribute, I see all feedback as constructive (not the idiot bit though) Maybe I wont apply for that data analyst job ;-)
