they still have plenty of candypop dj's on the lineup this year, but backing it up with a solid underground lineup too. hoping they have separate stages instead of throwing them all on the sahara.

It's not that you CAN'T, it's just no one would be dumb enough to buy them. CL and Stubhub are flooded with dirt cheap tickets, especially for weekend 2. They're going as low as $250 lol.

The only thing you can't scalp is camping passes, because they're connected with the wristbands. If they're not connected then they won't let you into the camping area.

they linked camping passes with the wristbands and made them (camping passes) nontransferable, which was new this year and a huge impact. it's not clear yet if they will let people into the campgrounds if they dont have a matching car camp sticker + wristband RFID chip but from the writing on the website they won't, so that removes the ability to scalp camping passes


the 2nd weekend helped a lot with weekend 1 scalping - although we didn't really see the effects until this year (last year ticket scalping prices were reduced a little, but this year by a huge amount, i.e. face value).

i dont know what the ticket type counts look like, but camping+GA passes are probably the most popular combo and in years past they would be scalped like crazy, disproportionally so from a GA wristband on its own

Is this true? I have a GA pass and I'm going to camp with friends who are car camping. As far as I know, I do not need a special camping pass to do this. Only one person needs to have a car camp pass and bring in car. Others people can join and camp on that spot.

He meant you can't get your car into the car camping ground. Anyone with a GA wristband can enter coachella blocade (they close off a block or two each direction), campgrounds and the actual festival

arggghhhh they put up Prydz against the Chili Peppers!!! That is so lame. I have wanted to see them both for YEARS. I'll have to go with Peppers on this one since Prydz is gonna be around more often I'm sure.
