anyhow, anyone able to suggest a good record UK record store that has a lot of stock and has cheap and reliable services to the USA? checked out chemical records, but their site is rather sparse meaning i have a ton fo questions for htem but they have a phone # but no email address

I just ordered from Chemical Records and they are fast to get your shipment out. Got my order in about a week, I live in NYC. Record prices are decent and shipping prices are cheaper than Juno records.

And you can always find some stuff on www.ebay.com for rare hard to find records.

I just purchased 4 records from them and it came in 3 days! Record prices + shipping is on the expensive side..came out to about 12/ record..but its great for anyone that lives in the East Coast as they are located in New Jersey..

just like to make a comment on cdzone.co.uk. 1st dont expect your records to be shipped straight away even though they say they have them in stock because after u press purchuse it comesup with "records may take 7 to 28 days". Also their packaging is terrible, ripped vinyl covers damaged sleaves and to top it all off they dont awnser emails!!!!!!!

also if u wanna cancle it will cost u 10% of the record if u wanna cancle it within a month.

http://www.innercity.co.uk also a word of warning i know ppl hwo have order $180 AU worth of vinyls 1 month ago and havent recieved them. innercity havent even emailed them back. can u say DODGEY

www.memrecords.com
in canada, montreal to bee precise,
never ordered from them thru the net cuz there um... down the street from my house, give it a try, there a bunch of good guys

Posted by DJ Gringo on Jan-03-2003 20:23:

ordered from both these sites and was completely satisfied with both.

www.Imorecords.co.uk
www.majesticstore.com

Didn't see these guys either as I just rebrowsed this thread.

www.chaosunlimited.co.uk

They deal mostly in Psy but a pretty good selection of trance also. I have also ordered from these guys as well. Records took a little longer then I'd hope to arrive but I'm in the U.S and used to the 2 to 3 days it takes PlanetX to ship to me I try to take my business here whenever possible as they responded to my emails immediately, great customer service there.

And for older and hard to find stuff, qfx hit the spot with www.gemm.com Great site, most of the gems in my vinyl collection came from them

www.tunnelshop.de

Its in Germany, and I can't really understand it beacuse I can't speak German, but it looks like they have great German trance.

Posted by mikefasssy on Jan-13-2003 08:27:

oh yea, have any canadians used djmr??? They have some nice stuff, but it won't let me see how shipping to Vancouver is. Is it really outrageous or is it good?

Posted by PseudoCoder on Jan-13-2003 17:27:

Anyone used only-djs.com for canadian orders?

It said 3 day shipping - I paid through the roof for it. But they won't email or pick up the phone so I can get the tracking number!!!

Satellite Records just changed their website layout. Is it me or is that thing hard as hell to navigate and not really appeasing to the eye?
